Jackson Appliance Repair

I called on Tuesday and made an appt for Friday. As a previous reviewer mentioned, insisted on a credit card number before scheduling the service call. Thursday afternoon they called to tell me that there would be no qualified technician in the area to work on our dishwasher. No offer to set another appt. Nothing.

Didn't go. When I called they said they had no one available to make emergency repairs so I reluctantly scheduled a few days out. I was very clear about what the appliance was and where I lived. They charge $60 just to come out which is fine but they insist on a credit card number up front over the phone. So I wait the several days. On the morning of the appointment I get a call saying oh, they don't have a technician that can work on LG appliances in my area. Sorry, click. Tell me that when I call. Now I have wasted several days when I wanted someone that day and am at ground zero.

Randy came and diagnosed the issue in a very short time. He had the parts readily available. He quoted me a price. I had the work done and my refrigerator was back working in short order! Will definitely use them again if needed.

The service technician told me he had 25 years experience, and it showed. He was very adept at the repair. He first arrived on 5-14-14, but had to return the next day to finish because the dryer was a Maytag Commercial Technology machine. He charged me $49.00 for the service call the first day and only for the parts and labor when he returned the next day. The service tech and the work were great, but the price was a little high. I needed the dryer repaired immediately so I didn't have time to shop around. I've used this company for my washer, for which there is a service contract, and they almost always do a good job. He was about an hour late the first day, but he told me that was because he got a flat tire running over a bolt or something like that on the road. Considering the roads in Jackson, that is understandable. He was right on time the next day.
