+ -1 moreWe had someone out from American Backyard to give us advice on which type of grass would be best for our yard. We wanted something that didn’t need a lot of watering (once established), and specified that we had sandy, we’ll-draining soil and a fair amount of shade. They recommended and delivered Kentucky Bluegrass. The first issue we discovered is this is not the type of grass we should be using for our situation, second about half of what sprouted was weeds. Now it’s mostly mud, as once weeds were pulled it left such bare grass. Watered seed and new grass everyday that it didn’t rain. We had a consultation with the “experts” regarding something as basic as grass seed and have been thoroughly disappointed. On top of that, I have called repeatedly to have someone out to look at the yard and determine next steps and the woman in the office tells me again and again someone will come out. They haven’t.
