I had asbestos tiles in my kitchen, steps, landing, and entire basement floor, which they abated in 3 days. I'm very pleased with the job. They were prompt and did a great job removing everything. They're one of the best companies I hired to do work in my house. Dana showed up on time to give me an estimate and I paid after the work was done. The job took them longer than they expected but they did not charge me extra. If you're looking for professional work, Alam is an excellent choice.

About an hour after they left, my house began to smell so awful and it was so bad that it caused your eyes to water. Called the company and they came back and mopped out the basement floor again and left a negative air flow. some construction guys came over to look at the basement for the remodeling and he told me they did an awful job. He could pick up clumps of mastic glue left all over the place on his finger . Called they company out, who sent out another guy- Mitchell who indeed agreed with me that the job was not done right and even said that this was embarrassing. This was over 2 weeks ago when the initial job was done and now they have to send out another guy to do remove the remaining mastic glue and degrease the floors. A job that should have been 1 or 2 days is now turning into over 2 week job. He was able to get the mastic glue off in areas, but because it was not properly done the first time, a lot of remaining mastic glue was left. Called the manger Dana, who is also the owner of the company. He had always been defensive in regards to the complaints. After asking for a partial refund. He told me he would not give me a refund after getting very upset with me that he didn't actually have to do anything or fix the existing poor job that they did. The negative air has been running 24/7 with the expense of the electricity coming out of my bill as well as having to stay home form work to have them come back. Than the manager -Dana told me that that there were some people who just can't be satisfied and he thought I was one of them. Wow! This was after things were not done properly from the start. Even his son in law who works form this company- Mitchell had agreed that the job was not done right and even sent pictures out to Dana to prove it. Dana is a poor manager and Mitchell - his son in law was more honest. He told me that he was sorry and told me that things were just not right. Per Dana's words "what do you want my left arm?" No Dana, how about a job you guarantee that you have displayed on your website, Obviously, they don't honor their guarantee or else they would have given me a partial refund. I did call the company that makes the chemical they applied called sentinel. Per there word was that they should have explained to me that a basement in an older home has far more cracks than other flooring and that any cracks would allow the chemical to pool and cause a problem with odor. Too bad I ended up with this company who can't hold up there end of the bargain after paying so much money! Per the construction guy, this company did a really bad job!
Description of Work: Asbestos tiles were removed from the stair way and mastic glue removed from the basement floor. The basement was going to be epoxied by another company and they wanted to sand down the mastic glue. Being a older home, I figured it would be better to have the mastic glue removed by chemical to avoid asbestos from the mastic glue getting airborne.
