Description of Work: They did a complete tear off of my old roof...2 layers plus asbestos underneath on my 1885 house and replaced it. The guys were awesome! On time and hard working. Always friendly. They did this massive job so quick and there wasn't even a shingle on the ground when they left after the mess they dealt with....very neat!

I asked for quote and estimator was there the next day. Gave me brochures and websites to check out and was very professional. Lake State Roofing did an excellent job on our cabin. They kept our lawn clean of debris the entire time they were out here and the roof turned out great!! I was impressed by there foreman, he was very informative each day and explained the process so well.. I cant say enough about the guys and would recommend them to anyone... Description of Work: We had a metal roof put on and they did a terrible job. It was installed by non-professional who did not follow the manufacturer specification for installation. We have had numerous issues with the roof and wish we never had it installed but for the cost we can not afford to replace the roof.

I am sorry you are having so many problems with this log cabin but we found leaks to be coming from the windows, siding and major ice back up that he has from poor ventilation in his home. I understand his frustration but we cant re-build the home. His roof was not installed incorrectly, it was very difficult to put the ridge cap on due to the steep slope height and poor access for a lift but it was not installed incorrectly..

Description of Work: Got snow off the roof. Calls were never answered directly. They returned my initial call fairly promptly. I was given an hourly quote. Workers arrived at a fair time and did an OK job. When the invoice arrived it did not seem to jibe with the quoted price and the time put in. I tried to contact them at least four times just to discuss the billing. None of my calls were answered and none were returned.

$150 is our minimum fee. We pay workmans comp / general liability on our men and have to get at least $150 on a repair or its not worth the effort. We did not install this roof and have no idea what the problem is here. We showed up and took care of the ice dams billed $150 and than get this review..

From start to finish, we were VERY pleased. Right from the gentleman who came out to do the estimate for the job to the end of the job where they swept the lawn (for any stray nails). All the men involved were prompt, professional and efficient. They got the job done in the time they had promised and it looks great. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Everything went well from start to finish. Job was done in the price range expected(estimated) and on schedule.
Description of Work: They did a great job with my roof on my rental property They did the standard roofing replacement and It needed new sheeting, eves and venting. They were priced right, quick, friendly and courteous. They did quality work and they cleaned up after themselves everyday. My yard was completely cleaned of any roofing material debris when the job was done. I would recommend them to anyone.

I needed a new roof so I called lake state roofing. They showed up and gave me a fair estimate. We discussed a time schedule and when they would be available to do the work. They showed up on the date we discussed, removed the old shingles showed me what rotten wood had to be replaced and explained to me how they were going to repair it. They came in one day did all the work that had to be done and finished the job the next day. It was unbelievable how neat my yard was when they were finished. It looked better than it did before they started. All they employees were very professional and polite and very hard working. I recommend this company to anyone that wants a new roof installed professionally and promptly.

Overall our experience was excellent. If I had to give advice to future customers it would be to avoid winter when having a roof job done. We had to keep our shingles warm in order to have them properly installed. This added to the cost of the work. It was minor, however.
Description of Work: Lake State Roofing put a roof on our new construction home. It is a large roof with several peaks. We decided to have a professional roofing company do the roof rather than our builder due to the complex nature of the roof. Lake State Roofing met and exceeded our expectations. Even though our roof was installed in February, the coldest month of winter, they were prompt and finished the roof in a timely manner. They cleaned up the job site each day and were very professional.

The job that Lake State Roofing was hired for was performed on an older structure that was in our family for many years. When they finished it looked like an entirely different place. Very neat, extremely well repaired and ready to start another era of family fun. I would highly recommend Lake State Roofing.

THE WORK IS GOOD THE THE DRAMA AND DAMAGE AND LIES AREN'T WORTH THE HASSLE.
Description of Work: THE WORKERS WERE SMOKING DRUGS ON THE JOB. THEY DIDN'T COVER THE ROOF AND IT RAINED IN THE HOUSE. THEY CUT RUTS ALL OVER MY YARD. THEY OFFERED TO PAY ME FOR MY TROUBLE WITH $150. GIFT CERTIFICATE BUT HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL CALLS AND WAIT MONTHS TO RECEIVE IT. THEN I ONLY RECEIVED $100. INSTEAD OF $150.
