EISENGA MASONRY

Had a new damper put on the top of our chimney which we were told needed to be done when we purchased the house. Had a fire a few days later and within seconds the entire house filled with smoke with none going up the chimney! We called Barry, was told he'd come back to look at it. Closing the new damper never stopped the draft we had coming down the chimney, there was no draw upward. It's June and we have never heard back or anything. Not sure what the problem is with the chimney but it's been taped off with plastic since November because there is such a draft coming downward. Nice guy but nothing was solved.

Wonderful service, great price, and prompt service. End result more than met my satisfaction. They showed up on time, and were done in three days. Barry worked with me on any concerns that I had, and returned promptly to correct one issue. Price for the service (parts and labor) was far lower than his competition.

I would rate them high as they were fantastic. They were tidy and clean. They picked up after themselves. The quote was exactly what we had talked about so there wasn't any surprises. They showed up on time. They notified me when they would be here and when they wouldn't be here. So they were very transparent about their scheduling and when they would show up. I always knew they were going to be here. They did really good work.

When we purchased our home, we were told that the flu in our fireplace needed work. We called Eisenga and he came out within a few days to look at our fireplace. Not only was he able to tell us that nothing needed to be done, but was able to describe why the inspector thought that the flu needed work. In fact, it turns out we have a flu system that is of highest quality, though old (circa 1938) that our inspector didn't recognize. He spent an hour with us, telling us how to best use the flu in the fireplace and the fireplace doors to maintain the best energy efficiency. After all that, he only charged us $25 for an hour service call. Awesome guy.

My experience was very positive and great. He showed up on time. He was friendly and very thorough in clean up. He answered all of my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who would consider this sort of work.
