These folks did a fantastic job for us. Our existing gutters were installed on our 1850 house about 35 years ago, when we didn't know any better, and the job was done poorly: among other things, the flow was poorly directed and the gutters were installed over fascia that should have been replaced first. Livingston didn't simply improve the design, and replace gutters and downspouts where needed. They also replaced several runs of fascia and some adjoining soffit areas that had rotted. They also found a section of a beam running along our front porch that had apparently rotted several decades ago before we installed a new roof, and they jacked up the porch roof and replaced the bad section of the beam. To sum up, they exceeded our highest expectations. They didn't just replace the gutters, but actually improved the integrity of our house. The owner and his staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working. Our sincere thanks to them!

Livingston Gutter was recommended. I checked Angie's list and they were highly rated. I originally had them out last year for a quote. I contacted them in March and asked if they would honor the quote from last year and they agreed. Due to weather conditions, installation had been postponed. They were professional, courteous and competent. I would highly recommend them. I am a very happy customer!!

They were pretty good. They came out and they made a special trip to talk to me about the job. They had fair pricing. They did the work. They could do long run. They had a wide variety for gutters. The person who was helping me was very responsive and helpful.

Showed up same day I called. Gave quote. Returned next day and cleared roof. Leaking stopped.

Dan was awesome and the guys that came out were quick and efficient.

His workers came and performed the work when no one was home. We were not happy with the first job. Owner came and did a better job after I met with him and discussed the work and expectations.

Livingston gutter went over and above to make sure our chiimney was repaired correctly. All the wood was rotted and it was in worse condition than originally thought. The experience was good. They were working around both the weather and the painters. They timed it right to fit in with all of that. They got here. They were in and out within about half a day, got everything done good, and cleaned up. It was good service. They were prompt in responding when I initially called. They gave a good price. They came out and were real cooperative with doing what I needed. They noticed that a piece of a downspout had come loose so they fixed that up for me.

LG was able to obtain a good seal on the gutters above my front door sometime in 1/2005. In 11/2010, I contacted FD to explain the gutter seals above my front door were no longer holding. I have the original paperwork, which indicates a 10 year warranty on the gutters with FD. Mike Witt indicated I should contact Dan at LG to have the area re-sealed. Dan evaluated the work in late 2010 indicating the area needed to be dry. I contacted Dan in Mid-March after the area had dried. Dan arrived on 3/29/2011 to repair this area. I sent the following email on 4/14/2011: Hi Dan, I am writing to ask if you had an opportunity to check the scratch on my front storm door glass. Per our conversation on 3/30/11, I explained how I found a scratch in the center of the door glass after your work on 3/29/11 re-sealing the gutters above that front door. This scratch was not present prior to your work. You indicated during our conversation that you would stop by to look at the scratch the next day. Since that conversation, I have found, at least, 5 beige colored gutter screws (and some metal debris) in my driveway and landscaping. 2 of the screws ended up in my vehicle front tires. The damage to the tires was not repairable and the tires have been replaced by Belle Tire. I also found debris (shingle stones and hornets nests) in my landscaping, which I cleaned up. I am happy to report that per the last 2 rainstorms, the gutters in that area have not leaked. However, the rain was pouring over the gutter covers because the tabs to the gutter covers were left bent out after your visit. So, I spent some time bending them back in so the rain would be allowed into the gutter. I have sent an email to Mike at Firehouse Doors to find out if replacement gutter covers could be obtained for this area. I appreciate your efforts to fix the leaking concern that developed after the original work was done. However, I am concerned and not happy with the efforts and expense I needed to employ to clean up after your work. Please contact me to advise how these concerns will be rectified. Since this email was sent on April 14th, a 3rd beige gutter screw has been discovered in the tire of a friend after visiting my home. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau on May 12, 2011 unless other arrangements are made to rectify the concerns listed in this email. Thank youIn filing the complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I asked for the following resolution: I would like $348.00 for the work and expense involved in cleaning up and repairing the items damaged. The replacement of my storm door glass will cost $148. I am asking for $100 for tire replacement, as there was at least, 6 months worth of wear and time left of the tires that needed replacement. I would like $100 for the time involved in clean up of the debris, removal of screw from my friends tire and time to repair the bent tabs on the gutter covers. The Better Business Bureau denied my complaint indicating the concerns are outside their purview. Note: The gutters and gutter covers above my front door were removed during the repair done. Therefore, the screws which hold the gutters to my home and the screws which hold the gutter covers to the gutter were removed in order to repair the gutter and the gutter covers. There may not have been any additional material used, however, screws were removed in order to perform the repair. The screws found in my driveway and in the tires were the exact type and beige color of screw used on the gutters and gutter covers. I do have the screws that were found in the tires and in my driveway. My request for $100 for tire replacement does not cover the entire cost to replace the tires. This request is only to cover the loss of time on the original tires because I had to replace the tires earlier than needed, since a repair was not possible due to the screw damage.
