I have a 35 year old cabin which the original wooden deck was dry-rotted and needed to be replaced. Due to water damage from the deck, I had to replace my doors due to the dry-rotting of the wooden door frames. The siding on the house was neglected and needed to be replaced as well. As part of my requirements for the project, I wanted low maintenance replacements. Dave came out an reviewed the project, provided his recommendations and provided a quote. I was impressed by his knowledge in the field and various materials that could be used to obtain my goals. The project implementation progressed as he described and within the time frame he specified. Because I live down-state, he provided me daily pictures of the progress, which to me was fabulous and shows how he went out of his way to do a superb job, which also shows in his workmanship and the details of his work. The only caveat that I can say that happened during the project was it was delayed twice due to insufficient materials. I went with a special order color for the decking material and that was the price I paid for it. I don't blame the builder for that reason. All in all, he and his crew exceeded my expectations. They were very professional, courteous, and performed great work. I give them a 12 on a scale from 1-10. I'm grateful to have found such a great resource up north to assist with my outside renovation project. I'm definitely going to use this builder again for other work when I'm ready to focus my attention to the inside of my cabin.
