Biweekly service was contrac -ted but the team came in one week, charged $94. Neighbor complained about clumps of grass tossed on her lawn by worker. I called and told the agent that I wanted to stop all services immediately due to overcharging and failure to follow agreed costs. i WAS TOLD i HAD TO PAY $60 FOR EACH REMAINING SERVICE, FOR A TOTAL OF $600! "Two men came in a truck at 4:00 pm. One climbed a ladder to the roof. He came back down, went to the truck to fill out the proposal. He came into the house with a handwritten proposal stating: "Patch cement chimney to save money and prevent a full rebuild. Seal all of the cracks in the crown. Waterproof entire chimney top to bottom. Chimney is in really bad shape. The bricks are deteriorating. I suggested doing all of the work to prevent needing a rebuild to save money and this will make it so no more water will be getting in their chimney anymore." The total price on the proposal was $6400 or $6000 if paid same day. He said they have a company who could finance it for us. My husband and I, unfortunately, decided to pay the $6000 with our check. I told them I want a legible copy of the handwritten proposal and pictures of the work they do. They assured us we could get all that by contacting their office. The two men took buckets from the truck and took them up on the roof. They came back down and washed their hands in our kitchen sink. By now it was getting dark and starting to rain. It must have been around 5:30 when they left the house. One man came back and asked to use the bathroom. I showed him the one in the basement. He came back up and they left. The following day I sent them a request for a legible bill and pictures. I received no reply."
