Mark came out and gave me an estimate in a timely manner - very professional - knew a lot about trees. Crew showed up - did a great job - very respectful of property - cleaned up the debris and left a beautiful tree canopy. I am hiring them again to complete the back yard fully confident that they will do an excellent job.

It was multiple trees that they trimmed.

I was not really happy with the services because they only did half the job and i had to call them twice. They only did a few things from what they quoted, i called and had to call again. They left a mess and they invoiced me a full amount which i paid by accent. The price was reasonable and when they came back and finished everything, it looked good only that they were not efficient.

Skylar and crew came out on-time went over all the areas they would remove and got to work. On the area?s that needed tree?s trimmed I appreciated that he didn?t over cut, and asked me as he was going if I wanted more branches removed. The mark of a good tree trimmer is the clean up after. They did a very good job pulling out the old trees and cleaning up the areas around my house to the point you didn?t know they were there. They even closed the gate on their way out.

He came out and gave us a big estimate through us. We told him that we only want 1 tree trimmed up. The guy gave my wife a difficult time, saying that they couldn't do just a single tree. I brought up the Big Deal that we had purchased and we continued to exchange emails. He eventually asked me to tie a ribbon around the tree that we wanted trimmed. After a few months he had never come out, and one night we have very heavy winds that broke the tree in half. When we told him about it, he told us to contact Angie's List for a refund.

Very well. All of the big pieces were removed by the provider and I was able to pretty much pick up all of the smaller pieces. When I later noticed that one big piece was still attached to the root in the ground and was unable to remove it myself, someone promptly came back and removed it for me. I was treated very courteously and was also given helpful advice.

I wasn't happy with them. I wasn't satisfied at all with them. His price was double, and I signed up with him, and I had given him a $100 deposit. I cancelled the service, and he did not give me back the deposit. When I talked to them he was rude, he was asking me, what I thought the job was worth. I was calling for an estimate, and he was telling me to tell him how much to pay. I ended up getting the job done for much less. I would never recommend him, because the estimate was supposed to be free. I didn't care for his demeanor, and attitude.

There were no troubles with scheduling. They took down the main trees that they said they were going to do. They hauled away the debris and cleaned up well. They honored the cost of the deal and we had additional work done as well. They did a very good job. The salesman did overstate a bit as to what they were going to do. I recommend to other consumers to have everything quoted to be written in the final estimate.

He was professional and businesslike. It went well, he knew what he was doing.

It took the contractor over a month from the time of the order until the work was performed. For this I had to nag the contractor both by phone and e-mail to get the task completed. The 2 workers did a good job when they finally showed up. The cost to me was the original $111.00 (200.00) Big Deal plus $45.00.

They came out and gave me an estimate and told me to give them six weeks before the actual work. I believe it was more like 2 months when I called them and asked when it would be done. They gave me a date, came out bright and early and did the work. They cleaned-up and did a good job.

Cut down three dead trees. Pruned a large oak that was overhanging the house and trimmed some ornamentals. They were very knowledgeable and explained the how and why of every procedure. We highly recommend them and would use this company for our future needs.

Trees were cleaned up and all branches and leaves cleaned up no mess as left behind yard was in perfect condition .

As a result of the severe storm on June 27, 2013, a portion of a large pine tree in front of our home snapped off and fell on our roof. Precision Tree was the only company I could find on Angie's list with an after-hours telephone number. Mark returned my call right away. His crew was at our house within two days, and they were friendly and polite. They cleaned everything up and were nice enough to put a tarp on our roof as well, to hold us over until we could get roofers out. We were very pleased with the services we received from Precision Tree. We wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future.

They were great. They squeezed me into their schedule and I really appreciated it. They were prompt and professional and I would recommend them.

Was very happy with the service. Not the cheapest price we could have gotten, but wanted a quality job. Based on past reviews of Precision, we decided to go with them and were not disappointed. They came out and gave a thorough on site quote for the work very quickly. After we decided to hire them, it took a few phone calls and a couple weeks to get a date scheduled for the work which was a little frustrating, but once we got through that they were at our home the following week and completed the job in half a day. Clean up was very good, all the branches were chipped and taken away, and the trunk was cut into logs we can split later. Overall, very satisfied with the experience and would not hesitate to use them again.

The tree company wanted more projects prices were very high. I wonder if that is why I am waiting so long for service.

When he came out to do the estimate he put a $125 charge on there for travel even though he lists Oakland County in his service area.

I highly recommend Precision Tree & Shrub to anyone in need of a tree removal service. Issue: Old maple tree (about 60 feet tall, base diameter abt 3.5 ft - I'm likely underestimating here) that had a huge section break off in a storm two years ago and land in the neighbor's yard. Also a medium sized crab apple that had a section where a chain had been wrapped around it and the tree was growing around the chain. I had two different appraisals done just for the removal and cleanup of the maple tree before Teri came out to assess my situation. While we were talking, I had him look at the crab apple and asked him to include the removal of it as well in the estimate. Their estimate fell right in the middle of the two previous quotes that were just for the maple tree. Obviously, I went with them. Side note: it was easy to communicate with Mark. He replied to emails and phone messages promptly. They finished the job in two days. During the job, they had to remove part of my fence because my back gate wasn't wide enough for the equipment, but they put the section back up both nights and now you can't even tell it was taken down at one point. One of the workers even helped me carry an old fence post, with concrete still on one end, to the curb - thank you! After removing all the wood, they blew all the chips into a pile where the tree used to stand. I actually used a majority of the chips as mulch for my flower beds. Also, as they were leaving on the last day, a neighbor stopped them and asked if they could pull out an old, dying bush for her. They did it right away and she was certainly happy that she caught them before they left my house. Now: Very satisfied. You can hardly tell that the crab apple was ever there. There is still a small mound of chips where the maple was but that will be spread out over the beds again before winter. Overall, they did a great job and were very knowledgeable and prompt. All the crew members were curteous and professional.

They were very pleasant. They showed up when they said they would and did exactly what we had discussed. They did a great job cleaning up the "mess" they made. They were very easy to speak to and made sure we were happy with the work before we did the final invoice/payment.

The fallen tree was removed very quickly in spite of the Precision's schedule being booked several weeks out. When Mark came to quote the job, he was by far the most thorough and took a lot of time to explain my options to me. The work was done well and was completed in the time frame promised. Everything was cleaned up nicely and taken care of so I didn't have to worry about any of it.

I am very satisfied with Precision Tree and Shrub service. I needed high limb removal and stump grinding done at a vacation property, and was happy that they could go on their own and see what needed to be done and quote the job to me. They identified the limbs that needed pruning for me, and wrote up a clear and accurate job estimate. There were some storms that ran though the area prior to my calling, so they were a bit busy, but I had no issue with that - mine was a low-priority job. We had to reschedule once due to weather, and no issues with that as PTS was very flexible. Prior to the date of service, they mailed to me a copy of their insurance coverage - very reassuring and professional. Because this is a vacation property, I was happy that I was dealing with professionals - all of our business was conducted over the phone in a prompt and courteous manner, so I did not have to make a special trip to the site for the estimate or the actual service.. I had a large willow tree stump that needed grinding and due to its size I could not cut it all the way flush. They took care of the final flush cut and did a perfect job grinding the large stump. The high limb pruning was done as described and the results are great. The the work was performed on the day agreed upon and the cleanup was wonderful. I will definitely keep PTS in mind for my future needs, and have recommended them to others already.

He was very prompt, I called him and he came the say day within three hours. He is very personable and knowledgeable. The price he quoted was more than I was comfortable paying so I did not use this deal.

Great, very happy with the service, excellent clean up. I wouldn't have know they had been here if the trees weren't gone. Always professional and do exactly as they quote.
