Other than taking a while to schedule the job, everything went extremely well. Every person from the first one out doing the assessment, through the last man who came out to grind the stumps, was polite and professional. They all seem to know a lot about trees, and explained everything. The day they cut the trees down, everything was chipped up, cut up, loaded on a truck and cleaned up completely in about 2 hours! Other than the stumps in the front yard, you would not have known they were here! Terry ( the owner) came out the following week and ground the stumps down below grade level. I will definitely call them again when I need work done on any trees.

Mark and his crew were very professional, cleaned up everything, you couldn't tell they had been here. On time, cost was as estimated. Mark had an arborist look at the pine trees to determine the problem before spraying. Very pleased with their work.

The crew was very knowledgeable, work was done carefully and clean-up was thorough. I have a beautiful red oak tree in my back yard. The work was done after a hard frost and a rope system was used when pruning instead of spikes in the tree trunk to avoid damage to the tree. A couple of large branches overhung the house and the crew from Precision advised me on how far to trim those back to avoid potential storm damage. Overall very satisfied with the estimate process, the work itself, and the professionalism of the crew. I'd use this company again.

Mark gave us a fairly through analysis of our 1 1/2 acre property. He made a number of suggestions and recommendations that we took notes on. Mark missed our 1st appointment, thus the C for punctuality. He also provided prices to thin and trim our trees. He did not provide any written paperwork.

The team of three young men showed up on time and began their set-uo very quickly. They were very efficient, polite and professional . On a very hot day they literally sweated their butts off with hardly a break (with the coaxing of my wife and some ice water). A 75' maple , 35' plum tree were completetly taken down and totally removed from the property along with three very large branches from a tree on the property next door.. The final clean up was excellent also. Using rakes and leaf blower, but for some woodchips from the stump grinding you could hardly tell that they were here. Would positively recommend to anyone. Thanks again to Terry and the guys. Well done.

The provider examined and provided detailed information about almost every tree on my property. Thoroughly explained, in simple terms, what health issues each tree had and what could be done to correct or at least improve those problems. For some of the trees nothing could be done and the provider clearly communicated that to us as well. The provider was polite, informative, and professional throughout the course of the service.

I have no resolution at this time. 6/26/2015 6/29/2015 Late Friday evening, the company called and my husband agreed to allow them to perform the service. He did this rather than have the hassle of fighting for the refund of our deposit. The job was performed this morning, pictures are attached so you can judge for yourself the quality of the workmanship. You can see where they allowed a tree branch to fall into a Spirea bush and break down its limbs. Also, some of the leaves from the crab were left....even on the Spirea bush.

Job went well except for one detail was not clear on the initial write up and it ended up costing me about 10 feet of pine tree privacy from the ground up. They did some extra work for the mistake and gave me a small reduction in price. The guys were easy to deal with and if the write up was a little clearer I would have had a perfect experience.

We do regret removing the mulberry tree which we did on the recommendation of the estimator, Mark. He indicated it to be a messy junk tree. We did not realize that it was actually providing most of the nice privacy leaf screening from our neighbors. We thought the hackberry in front of the mulberry was doing that. Also, upon further consideration, who wouldn't like mulberry pie? And also, birds love berries and we are backyard birders. So that's a big regret. From Mark's negative assessment, we made the assumption that the mulberry was a bad invasive species like buckthorn. After the deed was done, Skyler and Steve spoke about how much they love mulberry trees, love the berries, etc. That's when we started rethinking our decision. We liked Skyler and Steve very much. They are wonderful young men with marvelous attitudes and love and respect for the work they do. We felt originally from dealing with Mark, too, that these were good people, honest and reliable. And we were right. They are not inexpensive. It's a big cost, but it is probably not unreasonable. We had a landscaper trim shrubs once and he did a terrible job. So, you get what you pay for to a great extent. Actually, we liked Mark so much, we did not get other estimates, although we had calls in for others, so I guess we are not a good judge of price, but it is a lot of money. We will use them again, and we highly recommend them.

Mark is very knowledgeable with regard to his profession. We were given options on how to proceed in maintaining the tree without having to remove it. We learned a great deal today. He was very thorough in his explanations. He didn't seen in any way rushed. I was very happy with our appointment. I would not hesitate to call him again should we need any of the services offered by the company.

They are very good and they keep informing me what is going on.

Mark came out to look at my trees and was very thorough in explaining what could be done to them. My main concern was with our two 20+ foot tall Ornamental Hornbeams on either side of our front porch. These trees love their location and grow like weeds. The prior established tree company that we had used for several years did not do a very good job in keeping these trees under control as far as size and matching shape. So I decided to try and find another tree company that could come through for me. And, Precision did just that. About 10 days later, Mark sent out a crew that was very professional and polite. They were very knowledgeable which put me at ease. The young man who trimmed and shaped our tress, using a lift, was nothing less than an artist. My two Ornamental tress were brought down to the gutters and taken in enough so that now we can see out our windows. And, they're even! The Linden at the corner of our house was also trimmed down and shaped beautifully. Later that day, I was walking around looking at their work and I noticed that they did a great job with clean-up. You would never know that they had been there, unless, of course, you looked up and saw the beautifully manicured trees! I definitely recommend this company.

Top notch group of guys! Very very professional, courteous, and hard working. Worked all day long and the property was spotless when they were done. Cigarette butts went in their pockets and not a single curse word was spoken. Amazing. Wont even consider another tree company. They are also very knowledgeable. They offered great advice on what I should do with all my trees and shrubs. Also gave great advice on different trees that would accent my property well.

After co-owner Mark came out for more than an hour to thoroughly go over needed work, he convinced me that I'd get more work done by agreeing to an hourly rate contract vs a flat rate one. I originally thought I'd need to remove at least two huge oaks (24" diameter) at probably $2000 apiece since they were so close to my home, but Mark told me that they were good and healthy and that their root system went straight down, not outwards, so wouldn't harm my foundation. Mark's original estimate was over $1800 if I chose to go with an itemized contract (tree by tree) while the hourly rate contract had a 4 hour minimum and would cost about $350/hr for a 4 man crew with cherry picker and wood chipper. Before scheduling our workday, I received an insurance certificate acknowledging me personally as insured. Being familiar with these from my previous career, I was very impressed and appreciated such coverage. Just before our scheduled date, another manager called and said he'd be sending out a 3-person crew instead, at $250 per hour. Steve, Skylar and "Cupcake" showed up right on time, with large cherry picker and wood chipper in tow. They got right to work, did all expected work (including clean-up and raking debris) within 5.5 hrs, and neatly stacked/piled wood after cutting to my desired 12" length. Very polite young men! I give these guys all A's for a super job and only didn't score them perfect since I was surprised that they didn't wear any common safety equipment ( hard hats, safety goggles, chaps, work gloves) although they clearly harnessed into the bucket on the cherry picker. I understand that that's not my business, nor am I aware of equipment required by law or by the corporate management, but it just seemed a little strange to me. All in all, I will certainly use Precision in the future and would love for the same crew to do any such work.

A group of young men came out on the January date we arranged They called before coming to the house. The leader went over what was to be done. Carefully listened ton our concerns. Did the job quietly and professionally. Checked with us when finished and did some more final cutting per our request. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend the company and use them again. My wife and I were pleased.

All were completely removed and stumps were ground down so they were no longer visible. Even went above and beyond to carefully work around or existing outdoor electrical lighting and sprinkler system - moving lighting when necessary. It was my responsibility to remove existing stone blocks that prevented access to shrub roots before they arrived, but I never did it because I became too busy. These guys called and offered to help by even doing this part of the job for a tiny additional fee. I REALLY appreciated it. They made everything easy and painless. If you need work done involving trees and shrubs, don't hesitate. This is the place.

They did a wonderful job, it just took a long time for them to get to us.

Everyone we spoke with from this company, from the owners to the workers, was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They arrived when scheduled and performed their work in an experienced and skillful manner. The two trees removed were huge and the process of cutting them down was well orchestrated and amazing to watch. The expertise of the young man that trimmed the smaller trees was greatly appreciated. They look balanced and no longer block our vision. While Precision Tree didn't quote a bargain price, watching them work convinced me that the quality of their work was well worth the money. I wouldn't consider having anyone else in the future.

The three-person crew was efficient and considerate of my property. They were knowledgeable about several different kinds of trees that required pruning and did a professional job.

ternoon. Monday late afternoon, a partial crew of young men began clearing huge limbs and chipping them. They worked until around 6PM. Tuesday a larger crew showed up and cleared and cut away damage left in our trees and the downed huge limbs snapped off and scattered in our yard. They raked up all of the blown tree shreds and small branches to a level that after they were done it was hard to tell anything had happened to our yard. They also used blowers to clear anything the rakes could not get. One thing worth mentioning is that our damage was extensive and an old hickory as previously mentioned, was bent at a right angle hanging precariously in a green belt between our yard and the neighbor's with several older trees and bushes underneath it. Terry, an older but very knowledgeable specialist knew how to winch up the bottom of the huge tree weighing literally tons of weight and swung the tree away from crushing what was underneath it. He was experienced, kind and invested (as all of Precision was) in saving trees he could and restoring our yard to what it looked like before the storm hit. He was patient with our questions and very professional throughout this entire ordeal. The only thing that happened was Precision had experienced a breakdown in their equipment making them have to reschedule a day or two later. They showed up, covered in poison ivy exposure from another job, and finished up the job promptly Monday morning. They also kept us posted via phone calls on all visits and procedures. They never pressured us for payment but we made sure to pay them for their services rendered. Now minus a few cherished old trees now missing from our yard it is hard to tell that a storm even went through our property. I encourage you to enlist Precision Trees' services without hesitation. We will use them in the future for pruning, etc.

The crew were wonderful. Four young men, two related to the company owner. Enthusiastic, upbeat, and completely professional. Went about their work quickly and efficiently but carefully without lagging. They moved statuary that might get broken away from the trees. They called me outside to double check if the apple tree was as I wanted it. They also did an immaculate clean up; removed all large branches, raked the small ones up and then used a blower throughout the yard, patio and porch. The owner should be proud of these guys. They all thanked me individually and shook my hand. Would request them again in a heartbeat.

My experience with Mark and his Team at Precision was exceptional. A storm rolled through the area while I was on vacation dropping 6 trees on my property, of which, two were on my house damaging the roof in two locations. I originally had another company schedule to come out Saturday morning for removal, but they cancelled at 6:30a that day. I scoward Angie's List Saturday morning for a replacement company and Mark called me back within a 1/2 hour of my early morning call. He was on-site within an hour, surveyed my damage and scheduled his crew to come out the next day, Sunday morning, to remove the debris for a two day job. Day one, prep the site, remove the tree from the house and tarp. Day two, remove the other trees They were on-site promptly at 8am. By 4p they had ALL of the work done and did not require a second day of removal. The crew was exceptionally professional. The lawn was perfectly clean afterwards(including branches not included in the downed trees) and they took great care ensure nothing was damaged of my neighbor's yard. This job required driving a bucket truck over my neighbors yard to clear some of the trees. Another item I was very happy with was the professional dress of their team. Everyone was in the same color polo and the shirts were in good condition. Because of this storm, I've seen a lot of tree removal teams in my neighborhood and many are shirtless or mismatched/shawdy look. I know tree removal is a hot, tiring job, but Precision's look and attire was very pleasing to my family. The cost was more expensive then the orginal company, but considering Mark arrived spur of the moment on Saturday and the crew completed all the work on Sunday. It was money well spent. Plus, his Team took pictures and documented the entire process for my insurance claim. Because of this data, the cost of tree removal was 100% covered by insurance. Precision Tree and Shrub services will be my first choice for future tree removal.

We experience significant damage from a wind storm that passed through out neighborhood. Nothing hit the house, but there was substantial portions of an oak tree in the garden. We had been meaning to do some other tree work for sometime, and so when Mark came out (on Thursday), we had him work up everything in a single estimate. To give some perspective, his estimate was only 50 dollars more than others who had stopped by to do the cleanup BUT IT WAS FOR EVERYTHING, NOT JUST THE CLEANUP. There are many dishonest brokers who try to take advantage during storms, and Mark is not one of them. He is more interested in getting lifelong customers, which he has in me and my wife. Crew came out on Monday to do the work. Arrived first thing in the morning. Went over the plan with me. I asked them to be particularly careful of the garden, since they would be working within in it. They were. All the stuff was cleaned up, and they even brought a blower to clean up any reminding debris. Frankly, some of this wasn't even from the storm. Back looks cleaner than it was before the tree came down. They also cleaned up some debris on the roof for me, which was a nice touch. Very friendly and super profession. They are my go-to tree folks now, and I can't recommend higher!

It went fine. The guys showed up on time, were quick and even yelled "timber" as the tree fell.
