Mr. Bussinger quoted me $4,250.00 to install a new furnace, water heater, central air conditioning, programmable thermostat and conversion of propane clothes dryer to gas (see attached quote). When the installation of the appliances was complete, Mr. Bussinger explained that the water heater and furnace were working perfectly. He stated the air conditioner was installed, but not hooked up to electricity as he does not work with electricity. He also did not convert my dryer, and installed a non-programmable thermostat. He failed to hire sub-contractors to complete the job that he promised in his quote. After paying Mr. Bussinger, we have had to hire an electrician to hook up the air conditioning. Mr. Bussinger asked for a check for payment. I told him that I would put the check in the garage under a brick, and that I would leave the service door open into the garage so that he could take the check and leave. I did not authorize him to enter my home. Mr. Bussinger did enter my home unauthorized on the date that he picked up the check. I know this because he wrote notes on my list of complaints that were on my kitchen table. (see attached). When questioned as to why he entered my home without permission, he stated that the garage door seemed to be locked; however, he found my check in the garage. In addition, he lied and stated that he entered through the basement slider that he had used for three days; this was untrue as my husband had locked the slider. I checked all doors before I left for work, they were locked. On October 15, I had to call the gas company as I smelled gas the day before. I called Mr. Bussinger as well. The pipe he installed had a hole in it. He returned Monday to replace the pipe. To do so, he shut off the gas, which put out the water heater pilot light. He failed to re-light the pilot light and the next morning we had no hot water. On Friday, October 22nd, our furnace never went on and our home was at 57 degrees.
Description of Work: Removed old furnace, water heater and installed central air conditioning. Stated he would install air condition, did not hook up (he did not know how). Stated he would convert propane dryer to gas, could not convert. Did not know how.

THE MAN THAT CAME OUT SEEMED VERY HONEST. HE WAS VERY NICE, AND DID NOT TRY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME. HE WAS INCREDIBLY PROFESSIONAL, WHICH SHOWED THROUGH IN THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK.
Description of Work: I HAD A NEW AIR CONDITIONING UNIT INSTALLED, THEN LATER HAD THEM INSTALL A CONDENSER.
