Description of Work: Was referred to Mitch Grissen by Art Tolsma of TNT roofing, when we needed gutters replaced after a new roof installation. He came out, within 1 week and gave a bid and told us to call him back when we had our colors picked out. Called him several times and texted him and did not get a response. He gave a bid. Apparently they are too busy to return our phone call or do not want to do business with us. We will never know. But I absolutely used the correct phone number for Mitch the proprietor: 616-836-2028

Description of Work: Complete residing of our house built in 1986. Also new soffit and gutters. They found and corrected several items like a lack Of flashing around windows and several bathroom fans that had the vent pipe terminating in a wad of fiberglass insulation. They extended the vents to louvers that they put into the soffit.they also installed house wrap before they installed the siding. The whole job took a team of three about ten working days. They did a good job of cleanup leaving a smattering of aluminum nails around the foundation but otherwise quite tidy. The house looks brand new. The cable guy was out at the house this fall and remarked how well our siding was installed. He said he sees some pretty shoddy siding installation. His unsolicited comments were reassuring. The price quoted was nearly identical to the final price differing by only a few hundred dollars to cover the cost of fixing the few surprises they found. I should also add that the siding job was done right after a new sunroom was added and that the builder also uses this company. Needless to say, The siding company may have felt some pressure to do a good job as I would have had the builder as an advocate if the job was not done well. The siding job was not through the builder and I negotiated directly with Grissom. My builder has had good work from this company also, but needless to say,they have a strong incentive to do good work as he gives them a lot of business. I would recommend this company without hesitation. I didn't get any competing bids as my primary focus was having good work done. I may have been able to save a little money but a word of mouth recommendation was the most valuable thing I was looking for.

 + -1 moreWe got three or four bids. He was the cheapest one. He was able to start the work right away. It took him about three days to complete the job. I am satisfied with the job he did. He showed up on time and did the work, delivered the stuff. He told us where to go to see the two houses so that we can know how it looked like when we had trouble deciding on the color. It was very helpful.

 + -1 moreGRISSEN IS A VERY PROMPT COMPANY. THEY DID EVERYTHING EXACTLY AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS COMPLETELY. THE HOUSE LOOKS BETTER THAN IT EVER HAS.
