Description of Work: Andy designed and installed crown molding through my condo. This included a living room, dining room, hallway, master bedroom and a secondary bedroom. He painted the crown molding to coordinate with the newly painted rooms. Additionally he designed a topper for my base moldings in all of these same rooms, which saved me lots of money. If Andy had questions, he asked me. He was very polite and professional in dealing with me, especially as I was managing this remodel from another state.

Description of Work: I contacted this company from a list off Angie's list due to the fact that I haven't had any success from referrals in the town that I live in. My initial phone call was returned within a day and I spoke with Andy and he stated he was a couple weeks out with work and I said that was no problem. Andy called me on a Wednesday to stop by but I didn't answer so a half hour later I called him back and he said he was already out of area. I told him I need a day in advance to be notified by him so I can make arrangements to be at the house because I am at work. He said that he would be working in area till following Monday and he said he would contact me if he was going to be able to stop by on Friday. He hadn't called on Thursday like I had asked for a day in advance so I called him and he said that he thought we had agreed to Friday. I made arrangements to meet with him on Friday @ 12:30 pm on my lunch. I did tell him I needed to be back at work at 2:00 pm. He arrived very promptly at the house. He stated he knew the house from the address and that he drives by it back and forth from the job that he is doing. He I thought was coming to the home to give me an estimate but he did not have a measure tape with him nor did he ask for one. He immediately began ( as I felt) prodding me about certain things about my home that did not pertain to doing an estimate at all. I kindly told him I was very private and that I prefer to only discuss the job that I was hiring him for. He stated he wanted to walk through the house and see if he needed to come back to the house at a later time because he needed to assess the situation. I was walking him through the home and again he started prodding me about info that was not related to the job but more about trying to get to personal life. I assumed he was professional by his eagerness to get to the house and get a estimate and prepare a time schedule. His vehicle is wrapped with advertising so I again assumed he was in this business to paint a home and to do minor repairs if needed. Andy stated not a problem to put my door handles on my new kitchen cupboards as well as other small details throughout the house. Andy again wasn't really writing down the info that you would need to in order to give an accurate estimate. After 1 and a half-hour walk through of my house he told me that he would need to bring another gentleman into my house and do a estimate. No problem with me except what was he doing for this for an hour and half? I felt that he was more CURIOUS about my house than he was interested in painting my house. He was very personable but I didn't and don't have time for time wasters. I told him he could call me any time and ask questions and or set up another appt. for him to bring in another estimator that he stated he would need to do. He also stated that he would need to bring in another company and crew in to help him do my house. I told him no problem, that he was the pro and I would follow his instructions. The following Monday I received a phone call from Andy apologizing that he felt he would not be able to do my house because he felt it was to big for him and it would take up most of his summer but he would and could recommend other companies for me.....???????? And that his crew was to old to do the job. I went on Angie's list to find people who were reputable and serious about working. I still need paint, a painter and my home completed ;(

Description of Work: Andy painted our entire condo to perfection, including perfect clean-up, quality paint, and no trash left behind. He paid great attention to detail and was able to repair a wall with some minor water damage, and had a plumber in for repairs. All of this contributed to a seamless completion in a timely manner. We would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: A R Peters Home Improvement & Painting LLC cleaned and painted the wood work on a building out back which was like a storage building. He also repaired cracks, nail holes etc in a large family room that we have. He then repainted that and the ceilings and so forth.

Description of Work: He painted a very large family room that had a cathedral ceiling. The job entailed moving bookshelves, removing pictures and filling in cracks and holes on the wall.

Description of Work: Andy Peters and his crew painted every interior room of my home, repaired kitchen cabinets, installed new cabinet hardware, and repaired 5 interior doors.

Description of Work: Had living room, dining room and hall painted and plaster repaired. Fixed a problem in bathroom also. Stained windowsills and fixed scratches in interior doors from damage by our dog.

Description of Work: Painted finished basement, basement bathroom, powder room and master bath including skylights. Re-grouted masterbath tiling.

Description of Work: 1. Refaced cabinets and stained interiors. Solid oak doors with a beautiful design (that we chose). Included external trim. 2. Painted kitchen, hallway, and living room. Living room was tricky: ceiling has six one foot beams that meet in center, so lots of corners and edges. Multiple small holes in one wall from shelf re-plastered. 3. Removed paneling from dining room, re-plastered (skimmed) walls, and painted.

Description of Work: Filled all holes and cracks, dry sanded all side walls in one bath room and one bedroom. The bedroom base boards and all walls were primed before a top coat was applied. Glidden paints were used for primer and top coat.The job took approx. 3 days to complete, working about 6 hrs. per day. Three, professional painters, were used to complete the job. All rugs were always covered before each days work. Andy's team, are excellent painters, and I plan to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Andy and his crew painted the ceiling in our whole house. It was more expensive and time consuming due to the pitched ceiling, and texture applied. And he had to fix what a previous painter had started and messed up. He was timely, cleaned up all mess created, and was honest with what to expect and why his costs were what they were.
