It's going amazing. She goes through every piece of paper, every box and make organizing/decluttering easy for my dad.

Working with Jackie is always truly a pleasure. She has helped me sort through physical belongings and paperwork piles. More importantly, perhaps by doing so, she has also helped me sort through numerous "life issues" that were bound up in the midst of the clutter. Jackie brings a fresh eye to the situation at hand, with both a wonderful intuitive sense and creative solutions to free up the stuck energy within the entire space. She has boundless energy and enthusiasm for her work and always (lovingly-yrt-professionally) keeps me on task when memories and stories are released during our work together. Over the past 10 years, I have hired Jackie several times for a variety of reasons--following my husband's death, clearingmy home office, preparing for a remodeling project, plus occasional "spot" de-cluttering. I wholeheartedly recommend Jackie's services.

I won't let my husband open the garage door, until it was cleaned and organized. She did a wonderful job, I am now willing to leave the garage door open and let the whole world see it.

Jackie Bornor is more that a skilled and proficient organizer; she is also well-versed on many topics and freely shares useful tips. She is creative in the use of space and in bringing related items together, often moving them to a more logical place. Best of all, she is not judgmental--at all. I never felt uncomfortable about her coming into my home and creating order out of my chaos. Ann K
Description of Work: Provider organized (1) desk and file drawer and all the paperwork and supplies involved, (2) walk-in closet, including clothing, storage shelves and adjoining master bath, (3) kitchen cupboards and cooking supplies, most notably baking items and spices, (4) put order into art studio and all the many, many related supplies.

After Jackie looked over my planned areas, we went right to work--and worked straight through the allotted time. I need help with making a plan, staying motivated and with the toting and lugging. Jackie did all of this--exactly what I want and need. I have hopes, now, that this will actually get done!

Jackie is a tireless worker. She is always warm, friendly, punctual and focused. When she is here, the amount accomplished is astonishing. She really loves being an organizer and her attitude makes me more confident in dealing with what seems an overwhelming task. She is also creative about solutions and has an expansive knowledge of things related to simplifying and de-cluttering. It means so much to me to work with someone with her skill, but who is never judgmental about me, the stuff in the house, or decisions I make; instead she is always upbeat, encouraging and supportive. This is third time I've asked Jackie to help with de-cluttering projects. Each time she has provided dedicated and fabulous hard work and guidance. Without her, I really don't think the tasks would have been accomplished. I recommend her without hesitation and have extolled her to friends and neighbors many times. I wish I could take her with us when we move!
Description of Work: Jackie is helping me prepare for a out of state move that requires organizing 38 plus years of "stuff" in our house and downsizing. She has been here several times, fearlessly tackling even long untouched closets and storage areas with a wonderfully positive and truly helpful and empathetic attitude. She organizes things into move, donate, recycle and trash boxes and bags, always checking with me on the decisions. All the boxes and bags are then sorted and labeled. She has provided many invaluable insights and suggestions about our current home and the new one, helping me envision what furniture will fit there. She has also helped me with decorating decisions when I requested her opinions and provided information and local businesses and persons who can help with various aspects of this move.

Jackie is a gifted organizer. She arrived at my home at the exact time of our appointment, spending only a few minutes getting oriented before setting out on our first organizing session - the bathroom drawers and hall closets. Our sessions were always tremendously productive. Over the course of several months, Jackie worked with me and my husband on decluttering, organizing, and donating items from bedrooms, closets, dining room cupboards, basement recreation room, basement storage room, and basement workshop. Jackie's approach is positive and energizing. She really helped cut through the negative emotions and the distress that kept me stuck for so many years. With sensitivity to my personal response to the process of organizing, Jackie listened carefully and adjusted her approach if necessary. At my request, she left me with homework to complete between our sessions, which helped me stay on pace with my goals and deadlines. As we worked together, I learned some of the principles of decluttering and organizing that I could apply to other projects on my own or with my husband. Jackie shared many ideas and strategies to let go of things, to identify recipients for my donations and recycleables, and to minimize my contributions to landfills. She researched information for me between sessions, such as donation and recycling events, and always showed up with new ideas to apply to the next project. Jackie is resourceful, creative, responsive, and good humored as she works with me. I have a great deal of admiration and respect for Jackie and the work she does to bring organization to her clients. I will be working with her again as I gear up for the next set of organizing goals in our home.

Jackie L. Bornor, founder & president of Stuff The Clutter, came in at exactly 11:00am, and we sat and talked a bit so she could find out what my needs were. From that moment on, she jumped right in, in helping to move a few things around in my sewing space, then we tore into boxes of papers!! She was so, so helpful!! Patient, empathetic, professional, expedient and with a wonderful spirit are only some of the words I can use to describe Jackie and her work! As we worked, she was very understanding as to my situation where I'm a full time caretaker of my husband who has some dementia & strokes, babysit my 7yr old "grandson", mentor a young lady & a few more activities. Jackie has skills to help anyone with any organizational situation/problem they are facing!! Yes, I want her back someday soon!!
Description of Work: For 3.5 hours, Jackie helped and taught me to purge and file my paper work...NON-STOP!! I must say that I am ashamed as to not writing this review when I should have and I sincerely apologize!! (Shows I need her back for helping me get my timing organized).

Working with Jackie was an outstanding experience. Her organizational skills combine with a "let's get it done" unwaivering non-judgmental approach and sense of camradarie provide the core of a service that we would not only recommend but also plan to use, again! Besides clearing the shed and garage of clutter and then organizing what remained, Jackie personally dropped off a carload of Goodwill donations and then provided us with recommendations for people to haul away some larger items that could not be recycled or reused. Her follow-up communications were both professional and personal. Sometimes you just need an outside eye, some extra support or a spark to move you from the "we need to/we've been thinking about" stage to the "let's do it, now" stage and that's where Jackie works her magic. Every time that I walk through my garage or into my shed, it confirms that it was time and money well spent with Stuff-the-Clutter.
Description of Work: Spent time with my husband and me to walk through our house and understand our needs (and quirks!) as we identified and prioritized areas that needed decluttering and organization. The three of us then jumped in and spent 3 hours tackling the first areas needing help: our storage shed and garage.

Jackie arrived today at the exact time we had agreed upon and we immediately got to work. She offered suggestions as to how to best utilize our time together and not a minute was wasted! She didn't even stop to take a drink of water or to eat a snack even though I offered both. We spent 6 hours going through every single file folder, every drawer, every cabinet and shelf and I ended up with 6 garbage bags full of discarded items, a bin full of shredded documents and another pile of material which will be taken away to a professional shredder. She even brought a label maker and now all of my hanging files are professionally labeled in alphabetical order. Now that the office is finally decluttered, I am inspired to update the decorating and better utilize the space. In addition to being very proficient at her job, she was very pleasant to work with - very personable and very non-judgmental (which must have been hard given the task I had placed before her!) I would highly recommend Jackie Bornor if you are interested in de-cluttering and organizing any room in your home or office!!

We needed to establish a home office from a room that had become a "storage" (read "junk") room with more than 15 years of papers, documents and mail, as well as arrange the room into an efficient working environment. Jackie came to our home and patiently sat with us as we went through piles and piles of material, magically transforming all of it into a working system. The job took longer than we expected, but not due to any inefficiency on her part; she worked diligently without breaks and never a complaint. She willingly undertook everything we asked of her, including assistance in moving some bulky furniture. She returned at least 6 or 8 times, always willingly accommodating our complicated schedules until the job was complete.
Description of Work: Jackie helped my husband and I go through 15+ years of documents and papers in order to set up a home office. She also advised on the organization of the room, its furnishings and their arrangement. She made a dreadful ordeal manageable and almost enjoyable. She is incredibly gifted at home organization and truly enjoys doing it. She is also an extremely patient and kind individual, willing to work around our complicated schedules. She is willing to make suggestions when asked, but is not pushy in any way. Both of us think the world of her and trusted her ideas totally. This is the second time she has come to help us. I also have a friend who has used her services and has only accolades for her. I can't imagine a better home organizer or a nicer one.
