The roof turned out great, we were very happy with the results, all the streaks are gone and it looks great. Was not so happy with how the person on the ground with the water hose sprayed the bushes to keep the solution off of them. On one corner of the house two of our bushes suffered damage because they were not watered well, we have some brown dead spots on them. The hose should have had a sprayer nozzle on it instead us just using a weak stream by putting thumb over end of hose.

Responded to request for estimate in timely manner and scheduled our job for a week later. Promptly notified us about need for re-scheduling due to bad weather, then did the job (which has a 5 year warranty) in an efficient, professional manner. Would highly recommend this company for removal of roof stains.

Even though our roof was only 10 years old, we were being faced with purchasing a new roof for one of our rentals due to a mold/mildew build up on the shingles. We had recieved correspondence from our insurance company that if we did not have the black stains remedied our insurance would be cancelled. I called out roofing company to receive a bid. They recommended replacing the entire roof at a large sum of money. We sought out other options. The gentlemen I dealt with at Ugly Shingles were courteous and professional. They were very easy to get ahold of, and the job was done when they promised. They reassured us that their service would remedy our problem, and it did. Ugly shingles got to job site on promised date and time. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. Their sales manger, Steve, was very helpful and returned calls promptly. He worked with us to beat insurance company deadline. Note: house was built in early to mid 1900's, and subsequently added on to over the years.

They arrived a day early, because the day scheduled, it was suppose to rain. It was so smooth. They were so great and professional. In addition to cleaning my roof, they did inspect the condition. I was amazed and impressed watching them clean a roof removing the ugly streaks and moss from a roof, and also learned that insurance companies are requiring that homeowners clean their roofs to avoid cancellation. Curb appeal is huge in my business, so I called them right away. Within minutes Ugly Shingles provided a quote and cleaned my clients roof that day! I was able to photograph my listing for the internet and brochures, and hold open house that week-end. The house sold with multiple offers, the owners were thrilled. I have used Ugly Shingles, LLC for several of my clients, referred them to other Realtors, and they cleaned our personal residence. I would definitely recommend Ugly Shingles, LLC to anyone looking for top notch professional service and a honest/ fair price.

Immediate results were exactly as promised.

The two men sprayed our entire roof,contained and disposed of all of the run-off that came thorough the down spouts. They took care to protect and rinse off any plants that might have had any overspray. They did not us a power washer, which would have damaged our shingles. The roof looked wonderful when they left. We will use their service again should the need arise!

I submitted my request for a quote online the week previous. Steve called within hours with an estimate and a date for completion was set. While they did not arrive within the time frame initially indicated, they did call to confirm a later time due to traffic. So.. my errands were not held up, but completed earlier! Steve reviewed the process and inquired as to where the outdoor facuets were located so that my plants could be protected. He and his assistant worked as a team as they cleaned the roof and rinsed the run offs from my plants. The roof now is streak free and should be for the next three years. The plants continue to bloom! Steve's team was professional throughout and assured me that I could call with any questions.

I contacted Ugly Shingles and a second company for estimates. Both companies were very responsive, but the Ugly Shingles estimate came in at half the cost of the other company's and included cleaning mildew off the garage siding, which is a service the other company doesn't provide. I was able to schedule the cleaning the following Monday. The team arrived first thing that morning and were finished in about two hours. They used an environmentally friendly product to clean the garage, but also set up my sprinkler before leaving with instructions to run it for another hour just to make sure the plants along the side weren't affected by the run off. They weren't and the garage looks fantastic. In addition to the cleaning, the team also completed a certified roof inspection, acknowledging in writing on the invoice that the roof is structurally sound. I wasn't expecting this, but very much appreciated it for insurance purposes. Everyone I interacted with at Ugly Shingles was friendly and professional. I would certainly do business with them again.

We purchased an older home that had years of moss build up on the roof. The company came out at the agreed upon time for the estimate and to perform the service. The roof looked much better after they performed the service, but some shady parts of the roof still did not look entirely clean. When I called to discuss the manager told me the build up was quite heavy. He assured me that the moss was 'dead'. If I could be patience, after a couple of good rain showers, it would wash away. And if it did not to call him again and he would come back out. As forecasted, after the showers the shady parts appearance did improve. The only complaint I had was a boxwood shrub and a strip of grass where the downspouts emptied browned out. I would use them again. On time, reasonably priced, and responsive to my questions.

I would like to say my overall experience with this company was nothing but a breath of fresh air. It is hard to find a company these days that will go above and beyond to make sure you are completely happy. The team at Ugly Shingles is A++++++!!!!

When I informed Steve that my new insurance company required mess removal before 4/11/12 or would not insure my home. He said they be here mid-march; so I was surprised they could be here 3/7/12! Guarantee of 3 years!

This was probably one of the most pleasant service professionals I have ever done business with. The entire experience was outstanding, from the girls in the office to the guys on the roof, everything was A+. I would highly recommend them to anybody!
