Premier Home Delivery

We needed to move some items from a house we were selling to our new place. I didn't want a full-scale move, just help with the larger. heavier, and awkward items that were too much for us to do ourselves. John Levoska was our mover, and Premier Delivery is (I believe) his company. He clearly took pride in it, and always answered the phone when I called. He was recommended to me by a furniture resale shop in Northville, where they use him regularly with good results. I am very happy I called and worked with him; He was great. He worked with an assistant, and they were very careful with everything. He charged by the hour, and got things done quickly, both in the actual loading/unloading and the driving, which was safe but not slow for a long drive. I was following in my car. I had heard so many horror stories of movers who just seem to try to take all the time in the world if it's an hourly rate, but they did not do that. In fact, we ended up spending much less than another "one-price" quote I got. John and his assistant were both very pleasant, and listened with respect to any special instructions I gave. They let me direct how much I wanted them to do, so I didn't wind up paying for them for things I could or wanted to do myself after they left. I am so happy that an activity I was dreading turned out better than I'd hoped. I would absolutely use him again, and in fact plan to when we move again. Since this time my father-in-law used Premier for a moving job and was very happy with the results.
