Very good communications. Work proceeded on time and with proposed cost estimate. cost was a little higher than the advertised price because of a need to upgrade some service lines.

It went excellent. There were items which needed to be done to bring the house up to par with respect to safety and electrical. 1)Install 4 new smoke detectors. 2)Remove and replace 3 old smoke detectors. 3)Install 2 GFCI outlets in kitchen. 4)Would need to go into attic to do the smoke detection hook-ups. 5)Need to install basement wall outlets with conduit. 6)The panel needs to be replaced with a new 150A panel. We are going to have some of the suggestions taken care of soon by the same company.

Electricians arrived on time, introduced themselves, and were patient, polite and helpful throughout their stay. They escorted me around my home to each work area and explained in detail what needed to be done. They then sat me down and wrote everything up (including price) prior to beginning work. Afterwards, they made recommendations for additional electrical repairs and improvements and wrote up a detailed estimate for those services. They wore shoe covers inside the home and left no mess anywhere. Just to be nice, they waived the routine service call fee. Written one year warranty on all repairs. Also, their office receptionist was courteous and helpful each time I called.

I was able to call and get an appointment within a few days. They were prompt and courteous, but most importantly started and finished the entire job in less than a day!! We will definitely use them again in the future.

Hartland gave me information different than any of my other estimates. The gentleman arrived on time but was arrogant and opinionated. Was to provide me an estimate on replacing current generator -never received quote or had any followup. Told me I was way underpowered for my house yet the current generator had been in use for over 10 years without issue. If you're looking for generator definitely get several estimates. I was happy to spend way less and have my current system repaired.

Branden was very polite and explained all options and pricing, which is a flat fee for each service performed. He did a great job locating the new gang box and installing the new thermostat. Also gave me an estimate for two future electrical jobs and advice on tiling around electrical boxes.

Excellent company. From quoting, preparation, installation to follow up. Very professional, caring, and friendly. Hartland Electric has all the staff to complete the installation and doesn't sub contract. They are certified to service and repair the generators they sell so we never have to go anywhere else. This company is great and our family would recommend them to anyone!

Though the electrician eventually completed the service successfully, I went overnight without water service to my home following his initial service call where he attempted to handle a rewiring problem (the well was working when he arrived but did not work after he left.) Jeff, the owner/manager, responded to my dilemma via email and indicated that his employee would call, but never followed up to see whether the problem was handled. When I could not reach the company the next morning, I left a voice message at the Hartland Electric office, sent follow-up note via their website and to the owner's email and also sent a message here through Angie's List. No response. I had to call the electrician's personal cell phone to schedule the follow-up service. (I realized that I had it because he called the previous morning to advise he would be one hour late. This was a last-ditch effort to reach someone; I was prepared to contact another electrician and stop payment on my check.) I had successfully used Hartland Electric for previous electrical service and so called them for this. Although the electrician was gracious and made the repair when he arrived again on Saturday, an apology or contact from the owner would have gone a long way in this situation.

It went very well. service tech was prompt and completed the work in about an hour. had to rewire GFI outlet box due to outdoor wear and tear.

They are very professional. Overall, they have an A grade all across the board.

The team from Hartland Elec. were very professional. They arrived on time and did a good job. They explained how everything worked and walked me throught it all. They cleaned up well and even did some extras for me. They traced wires for me that were unrelated to the job, they labeeld all 3 of my electrical boxes. I would hire them again!
