Description of Work: Terry Haynes cleaned the gutters, cleaned off the shingles of all the stuff up there including little trees in the gutters, storm droppings...Very nice hard working young man. I hope they call me back so I can plan some fall projects.

Description of Work: Installed drywall in our 1/2 story upstairs room. The new drywall is a big improvement to the old paneling that was there previously. Gary also did a fine job reframing four closets, and rebuilding the doors. He was on time every day, and sometimes even worked late. Our home doesn't have a good workspace, so he suffered through the cold in order to cut the drywall, and then hauled it upstairs without a complaint. | |Gary promptly returned all of my calls, and discussed the plans along with any changes with me on a regular basis. I hope to hire him again when we're ready to redo the bathroom. He's a hard worker with a great attitude and personality.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for 2 hours of general carpentry work. I had him finish a half wall with a wood trim to match the same thing I have in my entry way.

Description of Work: Gary built cedar windowsills in my cedar paneled three season room. The room was built a few years ago, but never looked quite finished to me. There were 12 windows total, two a bit wider than the others. Gary stopped over and made suggestions for making the finished project blend seamlessly with the original construction and offered pros & cons on potential material options (wood, trex, stone?). His recommendation on the cedar turned out to be perfect. Gary picked up the materials for the job - taking the time to select the right shade of wood - and arrived prepared to work. Gary worked steadily, took care to cover the work area with tarps, and cleaned everything meticulously before he left. The completed work was beautiful and the sills were perfectly fitted. I could not be more pleased. I look forward to having Gary help me complete other projects on my "to do" list.

Description of Work: I was very satisfied with GC Contracting CO. LLC. Mr. Croney was great towork with. He advised as to the best way to fix my shed. Part of the frameis rotted but he got the door hinge screwed back in and even pulled thepavers in front out to avoid more damage. Explained how I would have toget someone to shave the pavers. Glad for the tips he gave me. Would highly recommend him and use his company again.

Description of Work: Gary and Rick rescued me from a timing crunch on our stairway transformation and did it with the highest quality workmanship. We converted our fully carpeted stairway and wood balusters by adding oak tread ends, trim and new iron balusters.

Description of Work: I needed drywall repair done in my kitchen. The repairs were necessary due to some prior water damage and a hole in the ceiling from having some plumbing work done. The repairs were professionally done and the kitchen looked brand new when they were finished. My wife can't wait until I finish painting the kitchen so she can put up new window dressings and put everything back in its place.

Description of Work: I bought an Angies “deal” for GC Contracting Co remodeling services to correct soffit and kitchen trim problems caused or uncorrected by prior contractors. After weeks delay in contacting me (which he apologized for) Gary, the owner AND service provider (an important distinction) gave me an in-home estimate and offered solutions I was unaware of. He arrived within 30 minutes of the appointment time. He took measures, without asking, to protect new counter and floor surfaces before beginning. His cost/hours estimate was exceeded, but within reason, because the kitchen’s ceiling and walls were not straight. By watching him work I learned he is a craftsman, not merely a handyman. Unlike earlier workers, Gary has the skills, will, and knowledge to make the kitchen appear finished and professional. Rather than nail ready made trim to uneven surfaces, Gary literally “coped” custom pieces by hand cutting and fitting materials to fit irregular walls and ceilings. He personally and solely spent hours, on and off scaffolding, hand cutting, revising, trying, trimming and applying created pieces to walls and ceilings for later final sanding and painting. When done for the night he cleaned before leaving. He selected a date in 2 weeks to return and sand/paint the surfaces he installed. Gary’s work standards, honesty, accountability, and skills are outstanding. Accessibility could be the only negative for some; it is possible he may not come or return as soon as desired. Having endured workers who came immediately and performed poorly I am personally willing to wait until a craftsman like Gary can come and do a job right the first time.

Description of Work: Gary, the owner, does his own work. He was prompt, professional, and explained how he would fix items. He repaired several bifold closet doors, fixed other doors that were not properly opening/closing, aligned cabinet doors and did some miscellaneous handy man fix its. He estimated the time needed and met that estimate. The prices charged were fair. I would use Gary again for carprentry & general handy man repairs.

Description of Work: We have a very old house with a new addition. Gary installed trim moulding/crown moulding around my cabinets, most were not exactly plumb because of the old house limitations. He also installed remaining trim in my not too square front room, and made it look like it was there all the time. Great job!
