Locally owned company, with owners that have over 30 years of experience in the industry. Specializes in doors, windows, siding, and roofing. Products sold by Markin Co are environmentally friendly and innovative.
"Our sliding door was ordered and installed on time with appropriate correspondence. The installers were nice but attempted to leave the job without ensuring that the door was squared and closed completely. When I pointed this out to them in the driveway, they came back and addressed the issue. Later in the evening I noticed that an weather seal inside the door was clearly damaged (visible by rips and tears in a black seal showing white insulation beneath) in a way not possible by use. I called the company on numerous occasions, sent numerous emails with photos of the issue starting on the day of installation and now, four months later, I have only received follow-up calls from the company when they're canceling an appointment to repair the issue and have never received a follow-up call on how they will address the issue. The door and installation was paid in cash. I would seriously reconsider using Markin for any large job as this was just one door and I've been waiting four months now."

"The Lanes Roofing crew arrived at daylight to set up. Care was taken to protect my shrubby and lawn, just as I was told they would. Work on the roof began shortly, and they completed the job by day's end. My neighbors said it was impressive. The next day, two gentlemen returned to finish some caulking, to inspect the work, and to thoroughly go over the yard and flower beds to complete the cleanup. I think my new roof is beautiful. I paid over $8,000 for work that was never fully completed, and I?ve been dealing with unprofessional behavior every step of the way. The day after they said the roof was going to be done, I sent them a text, asking if the roof was fully finished. Instead of giving a straightforward answer, I received a response saying, ?It?s only 2:00????? ? a completely dismissive reply with no real update on the work. From that point on, I had to harass them repeatedly via calls and emails just to get pictures of the roof and gutter guards. The house is two stories, so I couldn?t see most of the roof from the ground, and I certainly couldn?t see the gutter guards. I needed them to show proof of completion, but they refused to send me any proper documentation or images. But they certainly didn?t stop sending me invoices and badgering me for payment!"
