Mr. Mark is a second generation master painter and the quality of his work is a testament to his expertise. Mr. Mark, his brother Nick, and co-worker Eric are three young men with "old school" work ethics. Arrive early, stay late, quality work at a reasonable price. Neat, respectful of the furniture, attentive to the reasonable request of the customer, and clean the area after the job. This is an old house (built 1935) and it required someone who knew about plaster, crown molding, cracks in the ceiling, etc. Mr. Mark handled it all with aplomb and professionalism. Highly recommended.

We hired MoE to repaint the entire interior of our house and remove the textured ceilings from three rooms. The house was built in the 1920s and had several areas where the walls or ceilings needed patching. Haniyf went over everything with us beforehand, kept us up to date with their progress. He is an excellent communicator, very personable, and conscientious. Six months later, everything has held up really well, and we are very pleased with the results.

Haniyf was absolutely great to work with. From the time he came to do the estimate to project completion he kept in communication and was professional throughout. Quality of the work was great and he stayed on job until it was complete to our satisfaction. He sanded exterior wood trim, stained, and applied a clear coat sealer. He also worked with us to get color right by doing a couple of test areas with different color stains. Would not hesitate to hire again.

We hired Mark of Elegance for the interior painting of our house. They were extremely hard working guys. They gave us an update everyday they were done on what they accomplished that day and what they were going to get done the next day. We had carpet installed the following week they were done painting. I called Mark and they came back out the very next day to do some touch ups for us without any hassle. Very affordable and professional team.

This is the third time I hired Mark of Elegance Painting — and for good reason. Haniyf and his crew always do a great job, explain everything that they are going to do ahead of time, answer all questions, and stand behind their work. As always, the guys showed up on time, ready to get to work. Due a miscommunication on my part, I had not yet purchased the paint. Normally, Haniyf does that, but he was trying to provide me with an option to purchase my own materials and I had neglected to follow through on that option. Without hesitation, question, or complaint, Haniyf immediately left to pick up the paint at one of the suppliers he uses. He had already provided me with 5 different options of paint and their associated characteristics, benefits, coverages, and costs. We had agreed on Sherwin-Williams Armorseal Tread-Plex as the right candidate for our particular needs and budget. Our home was built in 1911 and the original basement concrete had never been painted (except for one room). Haniyf brought me a material spec sheet, listing all the product’s information — yet another confidence-building gesture on his part. We were delighted at how quickly and efficiently the team worked, vacuuming and cleaning the bare surfaces, then “cutting” in all the peripheries and wall/floor junctures by hand, before rolling on the main coating. It is amazing to see professionals at work, with such steady, sure hands. The crew completed the entire job by early that same afternoon. Haniyf and I discussed whether or not a second coat was even necessary. The paint’s coverage was outstanding and — as an industrial-level quality paint (used in warehouses, production shops, hospitals, offices, and laboratories) — a second coat was hardly needed. Although Haniyf was willing to apply a second coat the following day, he leveled with me that it would only be “overkill” for a basement. In his professional opinion, it simply was not necessary. Of course, his honesty also saved me from incurring additional man-hour labor charges. Since the crew finished sooner than I had expected, Haniyf gave a extremely reasonable price. I felt that they deserved more and was pleased that the job was completely so quickly and thoroughly. I actually had to twist his arm to get him to accept an additional amount of money. The job looks superb and we are very happy. Again, I give Mark of Elegance a top grade review across the board and would recommend his team to anyone. Thanks again Haniyf!

From the initial call to the in-home estimate to the completed work, we could not be happier. Mark and his crew did excellent work, stayed in touch when there was a small delay in getting started and cleaned up everything before they left. They did a wonderful job!! I would highly recommend them for any plaster/drywall repair needs. They were on time and cleaned up each day (It wound up being a big job as I had SEVERAL plaster issues in all but 2 rooms in my home). They assessed the damage and proposed a plan for the repairs. Haniyf also provided us with extremely helpful information on the best primer to use when we are prepared to paint. Haniyf and Nick worked very hard to ensure we were satisfied with the job. They were a pleasure to work with and we would definitely hire them again!!

I reviewed and interviewed Hanify (Mark of Elegance) for what I assumed was a fairly straight forward painting of my master bedroom, closet, 2 bathrooms, and hall way. Hanify and his team arrived at agreed on time, they were courteous and very respectful of my home. I live in a condominium in the West Bloomfield area build in 1969. The previous summer we had problems with copious number of bees and had addressed the problems of beehives outside my master bedroom window. As his team began to prep the walls it became obvious that there was a major problem. Although the beehive had been address and removed from outside the window, the bees and hives had actually invaded the wall and ceiling adjacent to the window. After being assured that the bees were not alive (smile)... Hanify assured me he could remove the hives, plasterer the wall and ceiling and replace my crown molding. He delivered on all the promises and then did a wonderful job of painting the rooms as promised. I'm very pleased with his job performance. Plan to use him and his team again and would recommend his company to anyone looking for a job well done.
