We are so happy with the foam insulation. I can already tell a difference. They insulated the whole house and the attic. This is an older house with barely any insulation. The crew was excellent, on time and did a fantastic job. Great customer service, I can't say enough positive things about this company.. thank you!

Retrofoam sprayed in foam insulation on the attic roof and removed the loose fill insulation. All the work was done as scheduled, the workers were professional, and the left the work sight very clean.

Initial Call: Within 24 hours of contacting Retrofoam of Southwest Michigan, LLC; we received a call to schedule an appointment immediately. Bob Hafler came out on a Saturday; discussed insulation options & provided a quote. He offered his Cell # for direct communication; maintained close contact and scheduled 4 days ahead of an established appointment to work with our project needs. Day of Appointment: Technician (Dan) called when they left the shop to provide the arrival time and a 2nd time to explain that a flat tire on I-94 would delay original appt time. The crew (Dan & Shane) were professional, considerate, competent, hard-working and friendly. They explained exactly what to expect with the installation as well as cautions for airing out the fumes. They cleaned up affected work areas thoroughly of residue (including our driveway) before they left. The total time was 4 ½ hours. Although I provided a down payment in advance to authorize the work; the check was not cashed until several days after the job was complete. I feel that this shows a measure of integrity. [Initially called 4 companies to arrange quotes; this was the only company who bothered to respond and came all the way from Hamilton, MI]

The company responded promptly. Excellent quality and job. Mostly respectful dealing with women. Half the price of other companies. Took pictures of before and after. They cleaned up the area and put up shields.

The insulation was added to the attic in a timely fashion. There was a lot of dust in the house afterward which we had to clean up. We notified Bob and he offered to pay for a cleaning service but since we already cleaned it, he gave us a rebate. He addressed our issues promptly and was very professional with us. We are looking into insulating our walls with foam in the future and would definitely use Bob for this.

the crew arrived on time and incountered two hitches. the dumpster that was scheduled to be placed befor their arrival did not come until after noon. this prevented the crew from revoving the old insulation. when they opened up another area where we were going to put in celulose, we incountered a problem with the way my water line for my heating system ran through. we decided to use the spray foam insted at a reasonable increas in price. the crew had brought extra foam and thought they might have enough for this extra area. with the delayed start (not their fault} the worked late to get the job done, however the foam ran out just short of the origional job in the attic. they came back the next day and finished in less than an hour. the crew was frendly professional. They cleand up the area well and overall I was very happy with the way things went. I would reccomend this company for any foam insulation application.

Everything went well. They removed cabinets that were in the utility room so that they could foam behind them. Reinstalled them to my satisfaction.

I've learned a lot about foam insulation after the fact but chiefly, I learned that the guys claiming to have soy based insulation really only have a mixture with a little soy in it. It is still petroleum based just like anybody else's. It's not really cheaper or better. Retrofoam doesn't make that claim. The day they were scheduled, they called me in the morning to tell me how far out they were. They were completely professional from top to bottom. The amount of foam was probably a little thicker than I asked for which only means more insulation value. I was concerned about fumes getting into the rest of the house but there was minimal spread to the rest of the house...it is an old house and there are cracks and air passages everywhere. Still, it went very well and the minimal fumes were gone very quickly. It smelled a bit like latex paint. Of course I'll know definitively when the heating bills go down but the place was sealed up tight and these guys know how to apply the foam so that it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Best of all they listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel awkward for asking.

They were the only contractor that would take the job. Due to previous insulation jobs being half undone by other projects the was cellulos in parts of the walls between any two studs but and incomplete. No one would blow in insulation because of previous work . these guys got there foam where it was needed. The real test is coming this winter.

They were punctual and professional at all steps of the process. They gave me options and didn't press me for a decision or a sale. They collected payment only after work was completed. I highly recommend them for any insulation project. We wouldn't call anyone else the next time we needed this work done.

Bob and his crew arrived exactly on time with three trucks pulling trailers with all of their equipment. They double-checked with us (the owners) before doing any work to make sure they had the right plan. They worked quickly and systematically in extremely hot conditions. They cleaned up extremely well when the work was completed. We are very pleased with their work.

Couldn't ask for any nicer people, completely professional. On time for estimate, on time when they started job. Everything was explained thoroughly. Started & finished in one day! I plan on having them back to insulate the crawl space under my house, and next spring to insulate the walls of my house.

Services went very well. We saw an immediate difference in the temperature of the basement after the insulation was performed. Service was quick and installation done in a couple hours. Worth the money.

They did a great job! They held exactly to their quoted price, even though it involved a little extra work to complete. The installation of the foam was done very effeciently and professionally. They were very informative and did a great job. We would use them again for sure. Great customer service !

It went great. They called ahead and were there right on schedule. The owner was there the whole time making sure the workers knew exactly what needed to be done and helping where needed. I definitely needed to vacuum after they left. But you can't even tell where they drilled the holes for the injection foam. I have cedar shakes for siding and they did great job carefully taking them off and replacing them again. Great communication and instant quote while he was here.

I have cedar shake sideing which they took off one piece at a time so the sideing wouldn't get broke. The sideing was layed out on the lawn in the place where it was taken off, this was done all the way around the house. Drop clothes were placed on the ground before they started to drill holes for foam. Above the windows and doors had to be done from the inside because there was no clearance on the outside. Drop clothes were placed on the foor before drilling holes in the walls for foaming. The sideing was put back on and looks great. Everything was cleaned up inside and out before they left.

It was an excellent experience. The construction of the room addition was on hold because the first insulation company did not show up, the second insulation company had equipment failure and could not do the work for a week. The company putting up the sunroom could not proceed without the floor insulation, so I went to my local phone book's yellow pages. What a find! The owner came on a Saturday so that work could proceed on Monday. He was prompt, the work was done well and quickly and he even put in some extra insulation. I talked with him about the type of foam used, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work was done in about 2 1/2 hours. They protected the house with plastic and cleaned up after themselves.
