Provider came out to the house, he was told what we wanted him to do (drywall repair, locate a leak in the family room and painting), he told us he would get an estimate back to us in a couple of days, we never heard from him again. We would have appreciated it if at the time he told us he was too busy or would not be able to do the work.

Dave is a great guy, and I really appreciated his attention to doing things the right way. He seems to be overly busy, so there was an issue of scheduling and getting him to commit to times, but he definitely got the work done as promised, just a little longer than expected. I'll definitely be using him for any handyman services in the future though thanks to his honesty and his apparent interest in doing things the right way. I also referred him to a few people. I believe my parents are calling him today even. Overall, he went over and above and exceeded my expectations on a very very fair budget. When I called him, I expected him to come in higher than another quote I received, but he actually came in below! I had to call him a few times after he came for the quote to get him to actually put the numbers together, but it was a great price and I'm glad I waited for his numbers. And he pointed out a lot more things about the condition of my deck that concerned him than the other people did while quoting. He definitely did his due dilligence during the quoting process, which I appreciate. He was extremely fair with some of the requests and extras I asked for. I asked for some lattice to be installed around the side for looks and so my cat can't get under the deck, and he basically did it at the cost of the material. The railings look great. Had a rotted board against the house from a flaw in the previous deck construction, which he replaced without charging me. He was willing to do a lot of extra things at no charge as just part of the job, which really impressed me. The one gripe was that he didn't do the best job nailing. I had to have him come out after the fact and replace a few boards because the nails chipped the boards because they appeared to be shot in poorly. However, he was more than happy to come out and make it right and didn't give me any fuss in doing so.

The quote was for around $7000. They were punctual. The guy really seemed to know what he was talking about because I got a couple of quotes. He seemed to be knowledgeable and on time. He seemed to be reasonable so I would consider going back to them when I get the job done. They were not lousy.

He did a great job. The work that he did on our drywall was excellent and it blended in so well with the ceiling that you can't tell where the crack was.

I tried to locate Dave to do some more work for me but I could not locate him and I concluded that he had left the area or was no longer self employed until I saw a relatively recent review of his work on Angie's list. I now plan to contact him.

Shorty was prompt - there when he said he would be. He brought a helper with him and did the work quickly. I was happy I called him and would do so again.

He did NOT properly the walls as we had requested. The result was an inferior paint job.

The price was excellent. My wife purchased the paint and when it did not cover on the first coat he came out and put on a 2nd coat for no additional charge. His painting was quite good but his drywall repair and patching wasn't up to the quality of his painting.

Continued from above, all work areas were cleaned up thoroughly and items that needed to be covered in the process were. They were very easy to work with, taking suggestions well. You can count on extreme trustworthiness.
