He was very easy to get in contact with on the phone. We scheduled a convenient time and he arrived as scheduled. He worked very fast, was courteous and did a great job. He left the carpeting looking great, just like I wanted. It did take longer to dry than I anticipated, but the results were worth the wait. Great job.

I purchased the Big Deal on Saturday, and received a response from Allan very quickly. We talked on the phone about the work that he would be performing, and I asked if he could clean an area rug in addition to the deal that I purchased. He gave me an estimate based on our phone conversation for the rug. He was available to come out that Wednesday. He arrived at my home, and he explained what he would be doing, and pointed some things out when his work was completed. He's very knowledgeable, and he worked efficiently. I was pleased with his work.

We had a good experience. He was very respectful, prompt, and honest. He came over to our place even though the weather on that day was less than ideal. When he noticed we had less carpet to clean than the package we bought covered, he asked if he could clean around the basement area as well. The extra-mile was appreciated.

Provider showed up without a helper so I had to help with moving the furniture. Proviider's equipment was in poor condition and leaked cleaning solution all over the house. The hose finally blew off all over the clothes in one of my closets. Total elapsed time for three rooms was one hour.

Showed up on time and were friendly and professional. I don't feel that they spent enough time cleaning the carpet and seemed to do a rush job while they were here. More time could have been spent on the high traffic areas.

I would not hire them again. It took two days for my carpet to dry. After it dried, it was worse than before. It smelled really musty. It did not smell clean. It did not even really look better. It was not good quality. He offered to deodorize the room but definitely it wasn't deodorized because it didn't smell good. He looked dirty when he came. He looked like he hadn't sleep all night. I wasn't really impressed.

He was here a little early. When he started spraying his device was leaking and had to be replaced. He was finished with all room within 45 minutes. The Angie's List stated there would be sanitizing and deodorizing. I didn't see either one. He said very little.

Excellent! Punctual, efficient, effective cleaning. This carpet is 8+ years old but looked rejuvenated, fresher and several years younger than after other cleanings, especially the worn, heavily walked on areas.

I purchased $125 deal on Angies List and added extra rooms and stairs for carpet cleaning and deodorizing. Initially, another worker came out and was unable to do job. The owner, Allen, was standup guy and really took care of us. He came out to inspect the work and it was not up to his standards and so he came back and did the work for us himself. The carpets look great, very clean and most stains and spots were removed and I was very pleased. Naturally there were a couple of the tough stains, daughter's hair dye, and black rubber scuffing from office chairs that are still visible and I didn't expect they would come out but I must say I was pleased that he was able to get those stains to lighten up a bit. It took a little longer to dry than the six hours he said it would take. More like eight hours and some rooms with less air circulation ten hours. But you can still walk on it, we did in stocking feet. Allen is man of his word and trustworthy and made things right for us. He gave us complimentary scotchguard treatment in consideration of the first worker not able to finish. We are grateful for the kindness. I highly recommend him and Checkered Flag Carpet Care will be our first choice for carpet cleaning. Its not often you meet such a decent business owner who is determined not to disappoint and who values his customers.

He did a good job, but there was one area that he could not get cleaned, but he did the best he could. So, I thought it was okay. There were no extra charges on top of the $125 Big Deal. They came out within the week after I purchased the Big Deal probably less. He was efficient, friendly, and did a good job. The only thing I did not like was the fact that he failed to get something out, but he did the best he could.

Alan was easy to work with; I postphoned one appointment due to weather, he was understaning and flexible for resecheduling in time for the holiday. He was very thorough in our "tour" of rooms and items to be cleaned, asking questions about specific stains. I was impressed, he removed one large spot but cautioned stain may come back. It's been over a week without any signs of stain spot returning. All carpet and furniture cleaned was big improvement to our home. Carpet took longer to dry than what I expected but considering the results it was worth the additional time. Alan is friendly, professional, easy to work with and has high standands for his completed job.

Shortly after I purchased the Angie's List coupon, I requested an appointment the next week with a couple of preferred appointment times. The owner of this one-man operation promptly called me back in less than an hour. He indicated that although my preferred times were already booked up, he agreed to slot me in for a morning appointment on Halloween. I had more rooms than the coupon covered and he agreed to these additional spaces for a nominal surcharge. He arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time and spent about three hours cleaning all of the agreed-upon carpets. He spent the necessary extra time on the tougher stained areas. The carpets took about half a day to dry. Everything looked very clean and satisfactory. To pay for the additional rooms, he quickly processed my American Express card through his Square reader, The entire experience was pleasant.

I called Checkered Flag Carpet Care well in advance to set up an appointment and left a voice mail. Alan returned my call within an hour and we set up a time and date. He said he would call me the morning of the appointment to confirm and he did. He arrived at our house exactly when he said he would be there. I showed him the 2 rooms that I needed cleaned. He ask if we wanted to add the deodorizing and Scotch Guard treatments. We agreed to those add ons so he quoted us a price of $73 for the 2 rooms, which I thought was very reasonable. I would estimate that the job took under 2 hours. Alan was very easy to deal with and he is a local business which I usually try to support. I would not hesitate to recommend him to a friend or to use his services again. Side note: I originally found Checkered Flag on Angie's List and contracted them to clean the carpets in my elderly mother-in-law's apartment in South Lyon. She was also very happy with the results of Alan's service and said that he helped her with moving items out of the rooms for cleaning. So if you have special needs, I think Alan will go the distance to assure the customer is well satisfied with his work.
