MK1 Painting did an excellent job from start to finish. Evan was very well organized with setting up project details and advice on what was needed to complete the job. Jacob was very neat and meticulous and Alex was the personality crew member (And the high climber, feared nothing painter!). MK1 will be the go to painting crew for all our future projects.

We hired MK1 Painting and Finishing to fix some plaster and drywall and paint two rooms of our new house. From the initial consult/estimate with Evan and Kaden, to the work crew consisting ofKayle, Jacob, Corde, and Tim, this is one of the most professional crews we've encountered. The estimate process was easy, with a line item outline, where you can pick and choose what service you want. Pricing is clear and transparent. Any deviation from the plan is explained and gone over before work is performed. The crew arrived on time (or a bit early) every day and were ready to go! They were VERY respectful of our home and treated it like it was their own. We've had a lot of work done on it and they were very careful about the hardwood floors and they cleaned up the floors every day when they left. They were also very good with our pets and made sure they were safely inside whenever they went in and out of the house. The crew was not only personable, but they did a fantastic job! I have had a lot of painting done in my life, but I've never had so many people tell me that a room looked great after it was painted. Our house is historic and has a lot of weird angles. The paint job was crisp, clean, and the lines were so sharp. We were so impressed with MK1 Painting that we asked them to come back a week later to do more work. Reliable workers and great outcomes are a MK1 standard!

I wish I could give MK1 a higher rating than 5 stars! The team was highly professional. They arrived when they said and were very respectful of our home. The painting job was meticulous. Two areas required wallpaper removal that proved tedious but was removed with the utmost care and an upbeat attitude. In addition to being meticulous and professional, the cost was highly competitive. We knew the cost without any surprises. Upon completion, our persnickety requests were honored. They made clear from the outset that our satisfaction was their goal and without a doubt, that is what was delivered.

We are exceptionally pleased with the results of the work done by Mk1 Painting and Finishing. We had been left with a mess on our hands by another concern and in a short period of time it was resolved professionally. They were expedient and friendly and did a great job of cleaning up.

Very professional crew and ownership. Crew is highly Knowledgeable, experienced with an outstanding work ethic. Crew was always prompt, neat, and paid attention to the details. Owners were every easy to work with and were flexible to my schedule and needs. They took time up front, to sit down and go over all of the details, explaining the work-flow process, timing, and clean-up. Then a day before the project began, we had another conversation confirming the details of the project. Everything we discussed and that I wanted for the project was done professionally and excellent in workmanship. I will be hiring them again this year for more wallpaper removal, drywall repair and painting. I would definitely recommend them to all of my family, friends, neighbors, etc.
