The service repair Guy was very helpful, he explained everything in details and also found out for me that I'm still under warranty. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart.

Late in the evening of January 23, I ran a medium load of laundry on the warm wash/cold rinse cycle. About 10 minutes later, while working in the nearby kitchen, I noticed that the washing machine sounded unusual. I rushed into the laundry room to find water gushing out from under the washing machine, running over the tile floor and heading for the back hallway and closet. I turned off the machine, grabbed about 6 huge bath towels which I kept stored in the nearby closet in case of emergency. I threw these towels onto the floor to stem the flow of the water and absorb any other water that was not going into the round drain near the washing machine. My husband came in to help, carrying two mops from the nearby garage. Together, between mops and bath towels, the water was quickly mopped up on the floor. Fearing that further running of the machine would cause more water problems, I resorted to hand-wringing out the items in the washing machine, then using a plastic cup to scoop the water in the tub to the nearby laundry room sink. I spread out the clothing and towels out in other parts of the house to dry as much as possible overnight. The next day, my first call was to a plumber who, based on my descriptions, said it sounded like an appliance part problem, rather than a plumbing problem. I called B & Z Service since they had previously serviced other large appliances in my home and I was pleased with their work. I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist explained that the repairman happened to be right down the street from my home and would possibly be able to come sooner than I planned, ie, the next day. She called me back within five minutes to say that the repairman would be at my home between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m, which he was. He performed the work as detailed above. I was pleased with this company, as in the past, will call them again, as needed, and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Rob, the service repairman, listened as I explained the problem I had experienced the evening before, ie, water gushing from underneath my washing machine, as it went into the rinse, then spin cycle. He carefully, ie, without scratching the floor, moved the washing machine away from the wall, while keeping in mind the confined space between the dryer and laundry room tub. He methodically checked the washing machine from front, ie, hoses going into the wall and connections, to front, ie, removing the front panel to inspect parts. After inspecting these parts, he asked for towels to prevent possible water flow. He did several trial runs with the machine. He then explained possible reasons for the water problems, ie, possible blockage, frozen outside pipes. He explained that all pipes and hoses appeared clear and free from obstruction. He then showed me a short run of the machine and recommended that until the extremely cold weather broke, to run the wash machine during the warm part of the day, rather than in the very cold, ie, sub-zero weather, as I had done the evening before. He said if there were further problems to call and he would return. I ran several loads after he left, without any problems.

IT WAS HORRIBLE. IT TOOK THEM 3 TIMES TO FIX IT. THEY KEPT ORDERING NEW PIECES, THE SECOND TIME MY HUSBAND CALLED, AND THEY WOULDN'T RETURN OUR CALLS. THE OWNER SENT SOMEONE OUT AND THEY FIXED IT WITHOUT SEEING THE UNIT.
Description of Work: THE ICE MAKER WAS FREEZING AND NOT MAKING ICE. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE THE SERVICE AS AN EMERGANCY VISIT.
