I have never hired a contractor before. After several quotes from contractors referred to me, I took a chance with HomeAdvisor. I cannot say how glad I am that I did. L. Hicks was very reasonably priced and did outstanding work. Their team was very efficient, cleaned up the worksite everyday, finished the job on time and within budget and I have a beautiful bathroom to boot. I have decided to hire L. Hicks to do my main bath as well now that I have seen the quality of his work.

The crew showed up on time each day and were very cordial and effecient.

This contractor showed good skills and proper application techniques. The management of this company was a bit slow on returning back bids and lacked any receipts of work completed and money paid. Because of their skill level, I'm going to have them do some additional work for me.

We hired Lou to do a complete bathroom remodel, gutting the whole thing down to the studs. It was a major project that we had been putting off for a long time because we've had bad luck with contractors in the past. However, Lou was awesome! He was not pushy at all when reviewing our quote with us and he was always available for questions. If he didn't answer his phone, he returned the calls immediately. Nice crew, cleaned up every day, and we are very happy with our new bathroom! Lou even repainted because I didn't like the first color I had picked. Will definitely use again!

L. Micks Building has done a couple of projects including ceiling insulation and separate electrical work. So far, they have delivered quality work as promised and appear knowledgeable in many areas. I intend to use them again and would recommend L. Micks Building, LLC to a friend or colleague.

I was so very pleased with this man's work. They showed up on time, did a real good, job, cleaned up very good, and were finished in 2 days

He re-built my water-damaged porch. It is beautiful now and the price was reasonable. I am going to have him do more projects. I highly recommend this pro.

Lou was really easy to work with. He was friendly, professional and really knew what he was doing in order to make the right repair. He finished the job today. The worksite post-repair was spotless and you could barely tell that work had been done, with the exception of the fence actually being fully upright. Lou was fast, kept in contact, and quoted a fair price for his work. We'll definitely want to work with Lou again.
