Kaikko Construction Inc

The kitchen was torn down to studs for rewiring after the floor had been rebuilt starting with new floor joists. The kitchen layout was difficult, as there were four doors, each on one of the walls. With construction ideas from my architect and a photo of the type of cabinets I wanted, Kaikko Construction built a completely modern kitchen but with the tone of the original bygone era kitchen style. Much of the woodwork was replaced as the original profiles were clouded by 100 years of paint, but the replacements were exact replicas using custom cut knives, and expertly installed. Alan Kaikko coordinated plumbers, electricians and suppliers to bring the project in on schedule.
