THEY REMOVED A HUGE TREE EFFICIENTLY, WERE PROFESIONAL, AND CLEANED UP BEFORE LEAVING. ALSO POLITE AND ACCOMMODATING. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. I HAVE USED THEM ONCE BEFORE AND WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND PRICE THEN, SO I USED THEM AGAIN THIS SECOND TIME.

Never was told they were done wanted them to do a few more things when finished. Truck put big ruts in woods broke down a number of small tree that were doing well left trees that were broken laying everywhere did not clean up branches and broken down trees and shrubs that was a mess --left stumps

Done in a short amount of time. Did as we asked them to: wood cut into size piece we wanted and left where we wanted.

Oh my goodness! The whole process could not have gone smoother. I was a little nervous about hiring someone but when Henry (I think that was his name) showed up he gave me an estimate to remove the tree and to grind the stump and since it seemed like a fair price so I decided then and there to have A 1 do the work. I did as much research as I could before calling around and one of the things that leaned me to go towards A 1 is because they are donors for The Special Olympics. This is a population of people that I work with and I like being able to support someone who supports these wonderful people. When Henry left, after giving me the quote I realized that I did not get a written quote but I decided to let it go and trust that he was a man of his word and I was not disappointed. It is refreshing to find people who actually say what the mean and mean what the say without having to have things in writing. Henry called me the day before letting me know when the crew would be there to take down the tree. The day of I received a call from Dave, I think it was, letting me know they were there to take remove the tree. When I got home I saw where the tree used to be. They cleaned the area very nicely. I am so pleased with the work they did and I will not hesitate to call them again.

The tree removal work was done very professionally and safe. However, when it came to the cleaning up their mess, they are the worst tree service I've ever hired. My house was covered with wood chips; the roof, the sides and the cement patio area. I had to ask them to blow off the roof and the patio area. Instead of using a broom and dust pan to clean-up the patio area, they used a blower which blew the chips all over the sides of my house & windows and areas under the eaves where there were spider webs, those areas were just coated with chips. It took me two hours to sweep down the house and windows. They also left deep tire tracks in my wooded lot that is adjacent to my yard. In addition to the mess and ruts they left, my underground sprinkling system was damaged. After they fell a large ash tree, I lost water pressure in my house. The foreman guessed that something caused a fault in the underground sprinkler lines and he shut-off the valve which supplies water to the sprinklers. Thankfully, the pressure returned to normal inside my house...but now I can't water my lawn or flowers. I called Henry (the owner) and left a message. When I was handed the bill, the foreman had spoken to Henry about the sprinkling system and Henry said it was my problem, not theirs. I have used Leonardo's Tree Service for years and have never had any problems. In fact, Leonardo's leaves my property so clean that you'd never know they had been there doing tree work. The only reason I decided to try A-1 was because my neighbor was having some trees taken down and a relative recommended A-1 to her. I figured as long as they were going to be working at her place, they could do my tree work, too. If you take pride in the appearance of your house and property, do not trust A-1 Professional Tree Service.

Exceptional job! Dan served as foreman and was exceptional. The crew of about 12 workers arrived promptly on time and immediately started work after being told specifically which trees need what done to them. They utilized a cherry picker for the first few trees and very quickly cut and shredded them. The limbs barely had time to hit the ground before they were removed and put into the shredder or the back of a truck. When the cherry picker wouldn't reach, they started to climb the trees with spurs and safety lines, trimming on the way up, cutting off the top, and working their way down. They used different techniques on different trees based upon the complexity, but always very professional. My wife and son commented that there are no slackers in the bunch. Despite having so many men working, each kept busy and worked very well as a team. After a bunch of trees were down, they went around and started grinding the stumps. After all the trees were cut, stumps ground and all the wood was removed, they did a very thorough clean-up of the entire area; could barely tell they had been there. The whole job took less than 6-1/2 hours. Near the end, the owner, Henry Husted, stopped by to check on progress and ensure customer satisfaction. He and the entire crew were very professional at all times and very easy to work with. I would definitely use A-1 again and highly recommend them.

Called them, 2 hours later they were on the job. estimated 400 , job came in at 350.00. 4 of them showed up and worked as a team to get the trees pulled away from the house and safely cut down. It was fun watching these professionals in action. You could tell they knew what they were doing. They even knocked down a few extra problem trees. I will use them again.

They are a really nice group of young men. They are hard working and I couldn't be more satisfied!

This is the most amazing and hard working tree company in the area!! I will always call them if I have any type of tree issue. It was a large task to remove all of the trees and A-1 Professional Tree Service showed up to my house with about 12 men. Henry, the owner, and his son were very knowledgable about the task ahead. They went to work right away! All of the workers were so skilled, professional and efficient. Since I wanted the trees cut up into firewood, not only were they okay with cutting the logs down, they even stacked the firewood in my lean-to shed. I could not be more impressed with the work they performed. When they were done, they walked around and made sure that any scrap pieces were picked up and removed. Even their price for all of the work I had done beat everyone else's price by far!! Again, I cannot stress enough that this is the company you want to hire for all your tree trimming/removal needs. They do not disappoint!!!

They showed up one day after I called to give me a quote. The trees were removed the next week. The crew showed up early and did a great job. They had to enter with their bucket truck through my neighbors drive to get access to my backyard. The branch was a monster hanging over my neighbors house. They removed it and the damaged trees quickly and professionally. It was quite amazing to watch. The best part was that there was no evidence left for my neighbor when he returned home despite the huge job. This company knows what they are doing, I would definitely use them again.

Great job. very professional crew. worked closely with us to i.d. trees to remove or save.

This is the second time we have used A-1. The first time was after the spring storm of 2011. They did $4000.00 worth of clean-up after the storm. Twelve men worked for over 6 hours. They were polite, fast and very neat. We hired them to do tree work for us again. This time they had to remove a huge dead white pine right on the lake shore. When they were finished with the work, the lake and the wooded beach area looked as if they had never even been there. Not a twig was left in the lake. Also, the final bill matches the estimated cost. We would plan to hire them again if needed.

I called for an estimate and they were there within 1/2 hour. I was happy with the price and told them to proceed. They showed up with a crew of about 10 and completed the job in one day. They minimized the impact on the lawn by laying down sheets of plywood to drive on and did an excellent job of cleaning up. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them to anybody needing tree service.

Called to get an estimate, estimate was done with in a day or two, They were pretty busy at the time, and we were in No rush,so it all worked out. They called to let me know they were coming that day, and we had the trees marked we wanted down, they took all trees that were marked. ground all stumps and did an excellent job on clean up. My husband and I were very pleased with their work and professionalism, we would use them time and time again if needed, and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done.

Poor communication, they left both their lift and wood chipper trucks in my driveway overnight due to starting late and did not tell me they were going to do that. Being dissatisfied with the lack of communication I asked for a discount and was told, "You're s@%t out of luck."

Their price is very reasonable. The yard looked better when they left then it looked before. They are licensed and bonded. They were also very careful and cleaned up good after themselves.

They removed the tree and cleaned up well. They were reasonable price and prompt.

They had came out previously, I did a full survey and marked the 2 trees I wanted cut down, as it was obvious, they were dead. I was not home so I told them to start on the south end before I got home, so I could make sure I had enough time to get home to make sure they cut down the right trees. However, they were late, started on the north end and by the time I got home, they had already cut down a live tree which took them all day, said they had to come back the following day, and I told them not to bother. I give them low ratings and will not use them in the future.
