Peak Heating and Cooling

So let’s start with the fact that they quoted us a 3-5 day installment… it was over SIX WEEKS! When they came for a quote we told them the biggest reason we are switching to forced air heat is to get heat on the level that you walk into the house because our daughter’s room is down there and it’s the coldest area in the house, they said it wouldn’t be a problem. After they got the furnace in they informed us that they might have to take some of the ceiling tiles down in the basement for the duct work we said that’s fine no problem and asked if they needed us to do it, they said no they will handle it. They showed up for a few hours every day but not much got accomplished. Then they took down the ceiling tiles and when I say “took down” you would think they took them down and set them in a pile nicely right? Nope! They literally ripped them off the ceiling and dropped them on all our things! Couches we had down there everything! They left the biggest mess I had ever seen! In our daughter’s room she had muddy foot prints on her white comforter, they spilled her trash and stepped on it, and she had saw dust and insulation on and in her bed! They didn’t order the parts they needed until they needed it so there was another couple weeks. Then they said they were putting the house on a 2 zone system which is great, but I said if they do that and put the lower level with the highest level floor wouldn’t that be bad because the upper level is really hot and the lower level is really cold they said that’s not how it would go and the two lower levels would be on the same zone and the highest level would be by itself. Well after MONTHS of not being able to figure out why our daughters room was still cold we called them and said that we need to get it inspected and they have one chance to fix the stuff (the registers wouldn’t fit in the holes they cut, the ones that did fit the duck work fell out because they cut them wrong, daughters room still freezing etc.) so they come over and the tech was super nice and couldn’t believe the work they did and didn’t do! Ended up putting a damper in for the heat on the lower level and highest level. We still don’t know how that will work in the summer when we need air upstairs and not downstairs! So they came and “fixed” that. Then they reached out to my fiancé and told him that it was our fault that the ceiling tiles were like that because it not their job to do demo to put the duct work in … even though they never told us in advance to do it and after we offered to do it and they said no! The electrician came and told us that they would be back to clean up the mess because that’s unacceptable, weeks later however we just paid for a dump truck and did it ourselves! We will see if this even passes the inspection but if it doesn’t I don’t even want them back here to destroy other things! Look at the pictures and you can decide for yourselves but I wish I never called them it was a horrible experience lots of work and frustration on our part! Hire at your own risk!

Don’t do it

We had to call the techs back out because they failed to do a pressure test on the new furnace and our inspection failed, also did not tell us that the company they use to finance our new furnace is a mortgage company. We are actually getting a loan from our bank to pay it off as we were not aware it was going to be a 2nd mortgage on our home. Very shady if you ask me.

It took 2 days to install everything but now my house is comfortable. My electric bill went down $50.

Peak Heating and Cooling was great to work with. The person at Peak who sold me my a/c unit walked me through the entire process. He kept me updated by text of work being done and coordinated with the electrician. Afterward, he followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I am extremely happy with the equipment that was installed. You can look at the installation and tell the technicians knew what they were doing. All and all, I had a painless and care free experience with Peak.

Great. The individual made many checks of the entire heating and cooling system. Then made a recommendation. I took it and when I turned the AC on the house cooled faster than ever. Friendly and knowledgeable . If I need heating help this winter I will call this company.

Fairly well

they had to come back after ordering the motors, but it was a reasonable length of time. I do wish they would have worn masks, even though they were outside, my husband has bad lungs and wanted to talk to them. Overall they were fine.

Called our regular “go to” company on Friday. Never called me back. On Sunday I went on Angie’s List to find someone else in hopes of finding someone for a quote on repairs. Peak Heating and Cooling called me within the HOUR, set an appointment for someone to check our unit for the next day (which was Monday and Memorial Day). The guy checked everything out, and gave a quote for the work that was needed and they were out the next day to move the unit...and repair it! With the other company we used to go with, it always felt like they were in a hurry to get in and get out. These guys at Peak explained things and were really informative. I felt they wanted to answer questions and explain things. I will NEVER go back to the other company. By the way...as of today, the other company has yet to call me back. Thank you Peak for a great experience and appreciate you coming right out!

Peak was quick to respond and professional. Tested air flow and combustion on ~30+ year old furnace. Gave recommendations for filters, replacement, troubleshooting with older furnaces. Prices matched the rate they advertised on their site. They worked with my wife since I was not home and were friendly and professional.

The guys at PEAK are second to none. There were multiple problems with my furnace and Juan, the owner, wouldn’t leave until he was sure I had heat. He had to run and get parts for the furnace himself. I appreciated that he took the time to show me what was wrong with the furnace before fixing it, and then showing me the difference after it was fixed. Service like that for your HVAC needs are hard to come by in this area. I would highly recommend them!

Fine and I am waiting for the insurance company to answer.

It was expensive but fine. It was okay.

We hired the guys at Peak Heating and Cooling to do a $69 tune up. They showed up on time and cleaned up our furnace. The blower motor capacitor did not test well so they replaced it the next day. Gave me peace of mind for the upcoming winter.
