Lowe's has corrected the situation. I would use them for other projects but not counter tops!

We ordered an upright freezer. It took two+ weeks for it to be delivered to this store, and another week to give us a delivery date. We made sure someone was home the entire day of the scheduled delivery day, and no delivery. We called at about 7pm and they said all delivery people had gone home, so we asked to speak to a manager. The manager looked into it, and said the freezer had come to the store damaged and someone was supposed to call, but no one had. Then he offered to reorder (which would be at least another two weeks), or send another comparable model the next day. The comparable model was fine, but it was $20 cheaper, and they said they would not give the difference because the comparable model was a "better quality". We said, maybe so but it is still $20 less! Still, they refused to refund the difference in price. We were not asking anything for our inconvenience (making sure someone was home all day, borrowing a cooler, and having all of the food taken out of our current freezer), only the price difference. We told them to go ahead and order our original freezer again, but an hour later called them back and cancelled (we were too angry by then to give them our money). They didn't seem to care at all that they lost our business, which tells us that they really don't care about customer service or good business. We really used to appreciate Lowe's, but something has definitely changed there recently. There are many other businesses that do appreciate their customers, and we will do our business elsewhere. Unfortunately this was not the first incident our family has had with this Lowe's location. My parents also ordered a portable dishwasher a few months ago and had the exact same excuse given to them. We are not sure if this is a standard "cover up" for something else, but it is very coincidental that the same reason was given to two separate orders. Their dishwasher was finally delivered about two month later.

THEY WERE NOT VERY ORGANIZED AND THEY STOOD ME UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT. OTHER THAN THAT THEY DID A VERY BEAUTIFUL JOB AND I WOULD PROBABLY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE VERY SLOPPY. IT SEEMED AS IF THEY JUST WANTED TO GET THE JOB DONE, INSTEAD OF GETTING QUALITY WORK DONE. IT WAS LIKE THEY WERE NOT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION WHEN THEY WERE DOING THEIR WORK.

THE SALES PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY HELPED ME FIND THE RIGHT COLOR TO MATCH OUR HOME. THEY HAD A WIDE VERITY OF DOORS TO CHOOSE FROM. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH IT, BUT THEY CORRECTED IT QUICKLY.
