I wouldn’t recommend Home Depot for bathroom or kitchen refacing. I had a terrible experience with them. I have a large bathroom with like 15 doors and we had some granite in there. It looks good now, but it just took 4 weeks to get it done, when they said it would be like 2 weeks or a couple of days. They kind of left a mess. The bathroom was about $5,000. They did give me a good price. They didn’t do a good job, so the quality wasn’t there. Once it was done the quality was an “A”. They were late. Every time I want them to come out and kind of review it and kind of shake their head. They gave me 10% off, but the job still didn’t get done right. I don’t care about that, I want the job done right.

It was h***. We were in Home Depot and a guy popping popcorn talked to us about getting a roof. We needed one but didn't want to deal with a long drawn out process. He told us his roof went on in a day; there were 16-25 people that came out and did his roof. We liked what we were hearing, so decided to have the salesman come to our house (which we hate having salesmen in our house) and talk to us about it further. When the salesman got there he was nice, when we told him we were interested in a quick quality job, and that the Home Depot guy told us that he had 16-25 guys do his roof in a day, the salesman nodded and said, well you won't get a better company to do your roof, blahblahblah, and sold us a roof. Little did we know that they subcontract to another company, and we ended up being at the mercy of another company that wouldn't show up until late in the day and took a whole week to finish our roof. One day there was only one guy working on our roof. We were not happy at the performance as a whole and so we began to email every day to Home Depot documenting their progress. The field guy didn't like this so he told me to "cease and disist" that the email was only for praise and not to email the problems that were going on our property. Since we weren't happy, once it was finally over the field guy called his boss and then after ending the phone conversation "since it's taken such a long time to complete this job, we'd like to send you a 100 dollar home depot gift card" he said it would take 6-8weeks to recieve it. It's been months. No gift card, and the repairs that my husband told him we needed to have corrected never was corrected. We will NEVER go back there again.

Everything went alright. We ran into a few issues with the installation. There were issues with getting the tac strips into our basement, which caused the carpet installation to be postponed a few days. Home Depot never disclosed this as a potentional issue, but they did do a good job with customer service when I called in about the problem. They were able to then get the tac strips down.

THEY GAVE US A REALLY GOOD WARRANTY WHICH MADE ME VERY HAPPY. THEY WERE HERE AT MY HOUSE VERY SOON AFTER I CALLED THEM. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY MESSES.
