Contacted Granite Pro to come out and quote new kitchen countertops and buffet in July 2015. Kevin the owner came out within a few days and had a quote emailed out to us within a few business days. We looked over the quote and thought the price was fair given we had a quote from a competitor that was significantly higher. We contacted the office and agreed to put half payment down with the understanding we would have our new cabinets installed no later than the third week in October. We called the girls Amy/Pam to let them know our progress in the second week of October and that we would be ready to have their guy Ron laser measure the following week. The office girls had a bunch of excuses about all the commercial work they were now doing and they weren't sure when their guy could come. My husband immediately contacted the owner and after some back and forth conversations he sent his technical laser guy out to do the proper measuring and create the necessary drawings. We received drawings the next week and had our cabinet contractor review them before signing off. We were told by the office girls it would be 10-15 business days before we would see our countertops and we told our contractors to work on other things while we were waiting. After 15 business days had passed we started calling asking where our granite countertops were as the contractors could not finishe framing in the drywall island to change it to a board and batten looking island. We called the office and were told that Granite Pro was in the middle of a major equipment move and was off schedule. The office was not sure when we would see our countertops. My husband contacted Kevin once again and was told we would see our countertops before Thanksgiving as we had family coming from out of state. We told Granite Pro that we needed those tops as the tile guy couldn't tile the backsplash and contractors couldn't finish the island. Our tile guy left and the contractors left and we finally got our Countertops installed a few days before Thanksgiving. However when they tried to install the granite backsplash between the upper and lower counters it was cut incorrectly and the big gaps were totally unacceptable to us. The week after Thanksgiving my husband called asking them if they had anymore of our original granite left for the backsplash and the admitted they did not. It was then my husband suggested that he drive over to their location and find a matte black piece to be cut to the proper dimensions. After another week of calls again to the office staff the new backsplash piece was finally installed and the sink clip that fell off fixed. However, the new clip was placed a third of the way over the hole drilled for the insta-hot and that could not be installed. Yet, another call to the office where we were told if we didn't,t pay them in full first they wouldn't fix their mistake. After a horrible confrontation with one of the office girls we received a email demanding we now pay them via certified check. We refused and told them to Sen. Their guy and we would give them the balance due via personal check. They sent the same guy who incorrectly installed the sink clip and we let him fix it and sent him away with the balance due. 12 weeks without a kitchen 10 weeks waiting for granite and now we are begging and pleading with are contractors to finish before Christmas next week. We have family flying in on Dec 24th. Do not use this granite fabricator unless you have months of time to spare and don't mind eating out for three month every meal. Their fabricators and installers do a good job but their owner over promises and under delivers and doesn't care about his customers. .

We have several rental properties and were referred to this company by a contractor colleague. The installation seemed to go well and everything looked good. Since then we have had the sink fall away from the counter. We have no idea what type of adhesive would have been used that would come away after only a couple years use. The adhesive covered some shims that also came off with it. No idea why shims were used in the process in such a way to be left behind covered in the adhesive. We also discovered that there were no clips used to secure the sink to the granite. Something that is supposed to be used to secure any potential possibility of the sink coming away from the counter top. What's more, this sink system does not have a garbage disposal with it. Seems they add weight and increase the opportunity for the sink to come loose. Again, something that would not happen if clips were used. I called the company to ask about the clips and was informed that the adhesive they use would be sufficient. When I then discussed the issue, I was informed that they only back their work with a 1 year warranty. It would seem sufficient only needed to be for a year. I have tried to contact Kevin, the owner of the company, as their website specifically offers contact with him. There is no number or direct email for him so I made general email contact requesting to speak with him. I received no response. I gave it a week and called in to leave him a message. With no voicemail, I could only leave a message with the receptionist to call me back. I have yet to receive a call. I could have chosen to place a negative review early on. However, I understand that people are busy and sometimes things take time to reach the appropriate person. I feel with three attempts to contact the owner in hopes of resolving the issue and no follow up, makes it apparent that customer service is not one of the priorities if this company. We will not be using them for our other houses.

On March 18 GranitePro owner came to our house (within one week of original contact.) He reviewed work to be done and gave us an estimate. His lowest estimate was based on a provided and quot;Promo Listand quot; of 20+ granite colors. It was suggested we visit one of the Grand Rapids area granite warehouses. We chose to go to Mont Granite in Grand Rapids. They had a large selection of slabs...so much easier to choose a color based on a huge piece of stone! We found and reserved a slab,( it happened to be on the Promo List), to be delivered to Granite Pro. We then ordered a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal and when we received those items we called GranitePro to set up an April 19 template date. The measurements were done with a laser and was a very efficient process. On April 29 the old counter tops were removed and the new granite installed. The only and quot;glitchand quot; with this whole process was our existing ceramic tile back splash. It extends from the top of the 4and quot; counter back splash to just under the cabinets. The removal process of the old counter top went smoothly and the ceramic tile was not harmed. But because the new granite was of a different thickness than the old existing solid surface, the 4and quot; granite back splashes had to be and quot;customand quot; made after the counter top was installed. That caused a 16 day delay....basically because GranitePro got very busy and the crew was out of town. During this hiatus the office staff (Pam) did a stellar job of keeping us informed and letting us know we were not forgotten. The 4and quot; back splashes were installed on May 15 and look fantastic. The transformation of our kitchen is awesome.....canand quot;t believe the difference! We are extremely pleased with the final result.

The staff at Granite Pro was excellent. They removed the old counter top, measured for a new one, adjusted it when it was installed, and returned some weeks later to repair a small chip we caused. They were all friendly, professional, communicative, and thorough. The price was very good compared to a number of other fabricators we visited. And they were very patient with us as it took us some time to finally settle on granite we liked. They did an excellent job at cutting the granite slab so as to highlight the best elements the granite had, and they let us visit the workroom to see how the process was done. The only downside was the lack of administrative organization. We never got a detailed bid or invoice, although they did basically adhere to the quoted price. Some other fabricators provided a detailed quote. They lack a good voice mail system but the secretaries made up for that with their attention to detail. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again when we replace the bathroom counter tops, but I will make sure we get the details written down before hand.

I was in the market for new counter tops and contacted a few companies in my area. I settled on Granite Pro after stopping out and talking to Sarah in their offices. They had the best price and could do the work in a reasonable amount of time. After looking at what stone they had in stock Sarah sent me out to a couple of suppliers to see if they had what I wanted. I selected a stone and she sent out Kevin to measure up the job. I had had another estimate from a physical inspection in my home and they had indicated that the counter top I needed would require at least one seam on my "L" shaped island. Kevin suggested that he could do the job with just one seam in a more inconspicuous place on another counter on the back wall. I'm really glad we used Granite Pro and Kevin was able to do what he said. The seam on the island would not have looked good at all. As I knew that I would have some extra work to do after I got the old counter out and could also save some money I removed and prepped the cabinets myself. They cut the stone with their own equipment at their shop and had it installed in under 2 hours and in less than 2 weeks from placing the order. The counters look great!
