Good efficient work

I asked for a chimney inspection and to get my ash pit cleaned out. I have 2 major issues with this experience: 1. While it was great to have a camera to see up the chimney, I was to be given a full report of any potential damage, and recommendations (with pricing) on getting the chimney and cap fixed upon completion. I never received a report on this work (it's been 8 months). I called 2 weeks after the work was performed to inquire about this report and was told I would get a call back the following morning to discuss. This never happened... 8 months and counting. 2. The ash pit was not fully cleaned out. I was led to believe that the work was completed, but when I opened ash trap door after the job was 'done', it was still full. This is unacceptable. To pay for a service and then to not have it fully completed and with no follow-up (service report, pricing to fix, no phone call etc.) tells me that I need to look for someone else in the fall to do the job the right way.

Erik did a great job cleaning my gutters. Will definitely have him back...

Erik was professional and thorough with the inspection. He had some recommendations to improve the longevity of our chimney and we hired him again to perform those tasks. My only negative is that I wish he could have done the inspection and work all the same day; I'd recommend he keep some parts on hand or products that are common such as chimney caps. However, I don't know the complexity of the variants of parts.
