+ -1 moreExceptional service end to end. Very quick response and issue was quickly diagnosed as a shift actuator in the washing machine. Repair was completed quickly. Personally price was great. Would definitely recommend West End and will use them again in the future if needed.

+ -1 moreThey were very good at communicating and being very punctual on arriving for service call. However, it needed an expensive replacement part and after checking realized I had an extended service warranty so their services were not needed. I would call again for any appliance repairs needed.

Description of Work: They removed an old dishwasher, installed a new one, and helped me figure out if I wanted to keep the existing washing machine. I ended up keeping the washing machine and buying a use dryer, which they provided and installed for me.

Description of Work: My microwave handle broke. The replacement part from the manufacturer was over $100 (horribly expensive for what it was - a plastic part). I was not able to remove the broken part or install the new part. West End first tried to find z compatible part less money, but could not locate one. They came out and did the whole job in about 15 minutes. They told me that if the part ever breaks again, they can make a metal one for me for only $50 that would last for the life of the appliance. Very good customer service.

+ -1 moreI have a Maytag gas stove/oven. The stovetop burners were working, but the oven would not heat up. My family uses our oven almost everyday, so to be without one is a hardship. I stopped into WestEnd Appliance on a Saturday afternoon around 11:15a.m. They had the replacement part in stock and offered to come over that afternoon. Matt and his co-worker arrived right on time and were finished within a half hour. They were both very polite and the prices was less than I was expecting. I would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went very well. Quick, thorough, and at a fair price.
Description of Work: My stove lost the ability to fire up, both in the top (broiler) and in the main oven.Dead & cold. Its a pretty nice stove and far from junking. I dismantled a good part of the inside of the oven thinking I would try and fix it myself after looking up some diagnostic tutorials on the 'net . I gave up when it was apparent that I would have to cut wires and do some re-wiring. I called West End Appliance and Matt was courteous and responsive and also worked with my time schedule because I work full time. He integrated his visit with my lunch time which I appreciated. When he came he was thorough and quick and friendly and offered general advice on how to prolong the life of the stove as well. Basically, he replaced the two igniters, one for the broiler and one for the oven with new parts.

+ -1 moreI used West End about a year or more ago and had a good experience. But the company has changed. I will no longer use them.
Description of Work: Matt was called by me to service a gas stove in an apartment I own. He promised on Saturday, April 2, to call my tenant and go look at it and see what needed to be done. My tenant called me on Thursday, April 7 saying that although she had gotten a call on Sunday the 3rd, no one had followed up with her since then. And that her stove was still nonfunctional.
