Description of Work: The Service Professor tech was very good. He came to perform a quarterly maintenance on our heating systems. He checked and cleaned two furnaces and replaced the filters in each.

Description of Work: During the course of some remodeling we discovered some whackadoo stuff going on with the wiring in our kitchen. They gave us a time window for the day, then an update when they were less than 30 minutes out. He understood the problem, presented a few options on how to go about fixing it, and once we chose one, got it done quickly and without much fuss.

Description of Work: After a number of different electricians had come to address a room that was without power, the Service Professor was the first company to actually follow through and get the power restored. It did take multiple visits, but they were able to get the job done. They were very responsive, easy to communicate with the office staff and came on time.

Description of Work: We wanted 2 ceiling fans, on cathedral ceilings, swapped out with more of a chandelier style light. I also had a plug in the bathroom that wasn't working which just ended up being a hidden GFCI outlet that was tripped. I called this provider because I saw they had an ad on Angie's List for a $79 service call and $79 credit so I thought I would give them a shot. They were very prompt in calling me back. We settled on a time for them to come so I took the day off work and that day they called saying no one was able to make it out. I then had to take more time off from work the following day when it was rescheduled. I understand things happen and that's fine. The only reason I wouldn't call them again was because of price. From what I understand the price is based on the job and not an hourly rate. I know now that I could have gotten it done for quite a bit less. If I had it to do over I would have just paid the service fee of $79 and not had the work done. The actual charge would have been more than $500 but the supposed deal I bought took $75 off the total price.

Description of Work: I got an estimate from The Service Professor for work on my furnace. The estimate was for approximately $1050. I got a second estimate from another company, which was $650. The second company performed the work one month ago, and the furnace is working great! I paid the second company $663.

Description of Work: The electrician, Tony, identified deficiencies in my electrical system and then offered varies options for me to consider to correct these electrical deficiencies. He was very thorough with the diagnosis; he then installed new parts while at the same time explaining to me what was being done and why.

Description of Work: Repaired 15+ year old furnace. Found parts still under warranty and handled all of the warranty paperwork. |Very attentive to timing and cleanliness in the house.

Description of Work: The service professor did great work and was on time and professional, they are perfect in every single way except for price. They quote premium materials and prices, for instance their "great" water heater costs twice as much as going to Lowes. So long as you know their prices are higher and accept that they are the number one choice.

We realized that we desperately needed a new furnace. They quickly installed the new furnace in the middle of winter. The heater works great and we no longer have a cold home!

Description of Work: I was given a 3 hour time frame (2 pm to 5 pm) for arrival and completion of the work. I called the business after 3 pm to make sure someone was coming. Ten minutes before the end of that time span, I called them again to see if they were still coming. A technician ended up coming more than an hour after they were supposed to be done. Instead of looking at what I needed fixed and getting to the job, he looked at everything in 3 bathrooms plus the softener, then said he was going out to his vehicle to write the estimate. It was 45 minutes before he came back in with the estimate which included all kinds of things I had not asked to have done. Eventually, we settled on a toilet repair and a water softener filter change. The work itself only took about 40 minutes. It was performed adequately. The tech left about 8:30 pm.

Description of Work: This was a second visit. The first was great and pricing fair. They were supposed to replace a light fixture in our foyer. I told the scheduler is was a two-story entry and that the fixture was 18-20 feet high so the person coming would be prepared for that. The electrician arrived without access to a tall enough ladder (said he wasn't told about the height) and said it would be a $400 job and then offered to get it closer to $300 when I said no. I said no and was out the $59 "service" fee.
