RYAN'S MODERN SEWER CLEANING

Cabled 45 ft to the city main to clear roots from the drain. Receipt stated "No warranty given". This seemed a bit expensive compared to drain cleanings I've hired in the past.

We had used Ryan's service a few years ago for the same problem. At that time we were told it could last 2-5 years. When we ended up with the same trouble three years later, it seemed on track. At that time, the service was about $375 which included the camera to find the source of the block and the water jetting to unblock. Forgetting who we called last, we had another company come out to perform the same thing. Upon arrival we were quoted $495 for the first 1.5hours with that company. We declined their service and were happy to remember it was Ryan's. We scheduled Ryan's for the next morning which was their next available appointment. Then received a call a short time after letting us know they could come right away due to a cancellation. They were there and gone within 20 minutes. No camera needed this time and the charge was $190. Their pricing compared to others get's an A+. Still expensive for 20 minutes, but far better than other quotes.

They charged $49 to come out and give a quote. They quoted snaking out the main line 90ft for $214 with a spiral cutter head. It was a success and cut through some roots that were causing the plug. They were in and out - in 45 minutes. I felt $265 was expensive - but nonetheless I didn't have the equipment myself to snake that deep.

Our serviceman, Aaron cabled out 90 feet, then became stuck. Had to call for an auger and another cable to loosen and free up stuck cable. He then cabled in and out to 105' 10 times to remove roots and consumer products. My line is 80' so the problem appeared to be in the city sewer line. This was proven when another backup occurred on 7/21/2013. Aaron suggested callling the city to check their line. I did and the city worker found a blockage that had to be flushed out. Aaron came back on 7/23/2013 and videoed our line which turned out to be free of any blockage or damage. He was also kind enough to talk to me at length twice while off duty during this process. I highly recommend Ryan's for sewer cleaning.

They were personable, knowledgable, prompt, had cool high tech equipment. Aaron, is wonderful and we always request him when we need to have work done. He is great and always does his work with care and concern for the customer. Also, Ryan's has a great office staff, all of them very friendly.

The service was excellent and the price was reasonable. They would expect great service. The guy who came out just had a baby and he was supposed to have his time off and he actually took time to come out here and help us out. He was very thorough and very clean. He did a great job and he didn't take a long time to do it.

Our service technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did everything in a very quick fashion. We had to call three plumbing companies until Ryan's Modern Sewer Cleaning said they were able to come out the same day. We woke up in the morning to find our tub filled with disgusting water and everything was draining very slowly after doing a load of laundry.

The service tech was very friendly and got the job done. I did feel the price was a bit high but have not checked comparables. I would have appreciated it if he had worn shoe covers as my floors got tracked with slush.

Asked local hardware store for a referral for my sewage backup in basement. They (and since then others) said Ryan's was "the best"! Little did I realize, this was the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest day of the year for this kind of service! They didn't charge extra for the "holiday" arrived by 9 a.m.! Aaron, my technician, had years of experience and was informative and patient (I was quite discombobulated), described my situation and my options. I'd ask for him again if needed. Also, their office staff is very responsive.

We got up on this Saturday to a dishwasher overflowing and a totally plugged kitchen sink. Water was everywhere. We called Godwin Plumbing, as we have had them before, only to learn they didn't offer service on the weekend - but they highly recommended Ryans Drain Cleaning. So we called them and left a message. He called back a couple hours later and came out a couple hours after that. He checked with us first to see if we wanted it fixed on a Saturday at an extra emergency cost or did we want to wait for Monday. We did choose to have it fixed at the emergency rate. When he got here and looked at it, he knew the problem right away and fixed it promptly. It was something that we could not have fixed by ourselves and were very grateful to have it fixed today. We felt his service was well worth the price. And the service man, Steve, was pleasant too. Overall, a good experience -- if any plumbing emergency could be called that!!!!

THEY CAME OUT AS SOON AS THEY COULD THAT SAME DAY. THEY ALSO DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB AT KEEPING ME INFORMED OF WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGEABLE ADVICE TO GIVE.
