Avoid like the Plague! Deposit placed 8/2019 for siding, windows, gutters, and sliding door. Didn’t start on windows till December with no notice (“Hey I have a crew headed to your house right now!”). Many windows were the wrong size or broken. Installed half screens when full were requested and quoted. 9 months later (As I write this),I still don’t have screens on all windows. The new screen door on my new slider has never worked (does not slide/glide) but the owner of the company says it’s fine and won’t replace. I haven’t been able to use it all summer. My gutters aren’t right and when it rains the water runs under into the soffit. Complaint and video submitted to office in June and they won’t address. Crew did not clean up nails and debris- I filled 2 banana boxes of small debris and nails and STILL finding more. Was quoted with removal of T1-11 siding prior to new siding installation (because I was told it was the right and best way to do it) but They instead just sided over. When I addressed and pushed this- the invoice was reduced a mere $600. The metal “wrap” around my windows is popping off. My support posts In my backyard were wrapped instead of blocking them in with decorative 1x4 like the front porch- looks like a kindergartner did it. Craftsmanship is substandard. When I requested a walk through with the owner to address the issues, he told me I was too picky. I guess he’s ok with half *** work. The job is not completed and to my liking yet the owner is threatening me with legal action if I don’t pay the balance. Save yourself a headache and stay away from Rasmussen.

Arrived promptly, professionally. quote was received and was less expensive than other quotes.

The roof was done in one day including the detached garage. Work was good looks well done. The trim work was a little trouble a new subcontractor was acting and working unprofessionally, when I complained Rasmussen stopped his work and sent me one of their crews who we have work with before and they finished the job and it was done right, Rasmussen responded correctly you can't expect more from a company.

The crew did arrive late, but they worked fast and got the job done in one day. The dumpter company was poor and I do keep finding nails, but overall they did a good job.

These projects were at a different location then I was so I did not meet in person. However, he was very respectful & courteous over the phone. Job was done as promised.

I was very displeased with them. We had some interior damage before they were done and they refused to do anything about it. Only recently we redid that room. We had a hard time to get hold of them and when they did turn up they refused to do anything about damage they caused. Pricing was pretty reasonable.

We were impressed with the professionalism and availability of Ron Miller, who came to our house several times with samples and design suggestions. We obtained a number of quotes from other companies. Rasmussen's was not the lowest, but we chose them because Ron was the most honest, detailed and attentive. He took the time to answer my many questions and was available throughout the project. The job took longer than expected but that was partly due to weather delays. With a project of this size and complexity, there are always going to be a few hitches, but they were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction.

It went rather well. The weather was not very cooperative and those guys even worked in the rain. It did take a little longer than we anticipated but the company was slammed because of the spring storms we had and they were working smaller crews. We will use Rasmussen again when we do window replacement.

They were delayed a little bit due to inclement weather but this is to be expected for this type of job. They stated this right away. They completed the job in one day's time. Very professional. Cleanup afterwards was great, no issues there. The dumpster arrived when stated and was removed when stated. The seal on the ice and water shield did not adhere in one area on the roof. Rasmussen stood by their work and corrected the problem. Their main concern was to get the issue resolved in which they did.

Called and got a very quick quote. They answered all of my questions and they were prompt to get the work done before the cold came in early this year.

They came out the repairs for me. They did not come as quickly as I would have hoped, but everything went fine.

The job began with the tear off of the existing siding. Clean up was not done properly. Several nails and debris were left behind. Our next door neighbor experienced two flat tires from siding nails that were left in his driveway. Installation of the backing board was poorly installed. There were many gaps and several open areas. Also, all seams were supposed to be taped. This was only done when the siders were being watched by the home owner. Rasmussen was hired to install one small window. The weather seal was installed backwards which could have resulted in water leaking. Upon our request, they did come back out and reinstalled the weather seal properly. The caulking around all the windows was done in a very sloppy manner. Several calls were made to Rasmussen to remedy this. We were not pleased with their response. They felt their work was adequate. This work was done in the summer of 2013. When the winter season began, the rain gutters broke lose from the house. This happened because Rasmussen did not install them properly. We had to hire another contractor to correctly reinstall the gutters. Brent, the crew foreman, behaved in a unprofessional manner. Several attempts were made to contact him and discuss our numerous concerns. He would not reply to any messages. Finally, a gentleman by the name of Hank, visited our home. He felt the work Rasmussen did was adequate and he told us, "You were misled." We have been very disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed on all levels. A great deal of time was spent choosing the best contractor. We were sadly disappointed in our choice with Rasmussen.

They showed up quickly to provide a quote and the pricing was good. After paying the 50% deposit, it took a while and a few calls to get a commitment as to when my repair would be done. To be fair, I did take a while to sign and return the contract, so their workload may have changed between the time that a quote was provided and when I sent the deposit check. When the work was completed, the quality of the work was very good and the job site was cleaned up. Perhaps, they just got very busy.

Received a quote for new gutter installation...was twice the price of other companies! Otherwise had no problems with them, just can't imagine why the price was so high.

The field service guy was really professional. I think overall that they are good, but I had a chance to see some houses they sided. I didn't like the way the wrapped the aluminum around the windows. It looked sort of cheap. We ended up going with Weatherhead and sons. They were about $1,800 more, but they are much, much more detailed we felt. The aluminum window wrap was much better, but more time consuming. So it depends on what you're looking for.

I needed someone to come out and do some minor roof and siding repairs after the harsh winter. I went with Rasmussen based on the good impression I got from the owner, Henry Prins, who did the estimate, and the generally favorable Angie's List reviews I saw. He quoted the job, said it would be 3-4 weeks until they would start, and requested half down and a signed contract to begin. At 3 weeks I began to wonder why I hadn't heard anything from them. At 4 weeks I began to worry when I would call to ask for the status and they would not even remotely be able to tell me when it would start. At 5 weeks I was pretty angry. I never received a single proactive phone call or update on the status of my job. I would have to call and leave multiple messages in the hopes of getting a call back. Finally, over 6 weeks after the contract was signed, two guys showed up at my door... of course, without calling. :-) The workers were pretty good and the work that they did was acceptable. They said they didn't have the materials they would have needed to fulfill the roofing item on the quote, but they did do some shingle and roof repairs that were not explicitly called out in the quote. By this time I was so tired and frustrated with this company that I didn't care; I just wanted the job to be over and to move on. I don't think it is an accident that since I signed my contract, several other negative reviews have been posted on AL for this contractor. I did not have a good experience working with Rasmussen and I would not recommend them to others in the future.

I scheduled a time for the estimate and made sure we were home, though no one came to the door during that time. About three days later, I received an email with an estimate. The service agreement was confusing and appeared to read the total cost was $75, as this was the only number that appeared and no estimate total was given. I felt that was a fair price for a simple job and agreed. I called about a week later to schedule a time for the repair as no one called me, and the receptionist said they would try to schedule something for next week. About an hour later, the same day, two guys showed up at my house and started working. They claimed they knocked but there were two people in the house who didn't hear anything. At this time I also had them estimate the cost to place gutters. They told me I would receive an email shortly after they got back to the office. It has been two weeks since they completed the job and I've not received a gutter estimate. I got a bill today for $200 for the fascia repair job. I was shocked and called the office, where the receptionist rudely read me the service agreement and said she didn't understand why I was confused. The work they did was minimal, I watched them nail one piece of small fascia to the side of my house in 15 minutes. I was charged for an hour of work and $50 of materials. I will not be recommending this company nor utilizing them in the future. I was sorely disappointed since I found them through Angie's List and all reviews had been relatively positive.

We got three estimates for this project and felt the we got the best most honest estimate from Henry Prins from Rasmussen Exteriors. It was not the lowest estimate of the three but we felt the most comfortable with Henry. As with any project there were some issues that came up, such as the trim with the new aluminum post where it met the header was not as we wanted. Henry immediately had it rebuilt to our satisfaction. All in all the project went very smoothly. Any issues we had were immediately take care of, any questions were also immediately answered, the job site was always cleaned up at the end of the day, there was never trash left laying around. Henry was always available, always returned our calls. We would not hesitate calling Rasmussen Exteriors for any exterior work on our house!

We own a 1200sq ft ranch which just had a roof replaced. Rasmussen Exteriors finished the job by replacing gutters, soffit, and fascia. They were very easy to deal with.It's nice to have honest people do good work at a fair price without any problems.

Great... they did really nice looking/quality work. They had a big enough crew that everything was completed in one day so we didn't have to worry about rain on an open roof.

We had a great experience with Rasmussen Exteriors. I received an estimate only days after calling and the work was started 2 weeks after. The crew was very efficient and completed in about 3 hours. We will not hesitate to use them again in the future!

Went as planned, only scheduling delay was due to the weather, rained alot this past summer. This is our 2nd time we have used Rasmussen and I would use them again. They have a great experienced crew, they worked almost non stop and cleaned up as they went. They would have finished in 1 day if it weren't for the rain.

Very well. They went out of their way to get the siding from the manufacturer and match the color.

Their workmanship was great, and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. However, I did have a problem with the foreman that oversaw our project, but the owner dealt with the situation. As far as I'm aware, that foreman is no longer employed by the company.
