L&N CARPET & CLEANING

The cleaning and stretching was 'okay'. The edges of the carpet look a little frayed and after a few weeks, we can see some 'bubbles' coming back up in the carpet. However, they charged me for an extra room and gave me a whole lot of run-around (not returning my calls, etc) before I had to go to Grand Rapids (from Kalamazoo) to pick up a refund check from them. This took 2 months. And, it turns out the check was for $50 instead of the $90 they owed us. Additionally, the company asked for a check (made out to an individual, not the company) immediately after completing service. They deposited it within hours of us writing it. I would not recommend doing business with this company based on my after-service experience.

We dropped off an inherited rug to be cleaned. They said it'd be ready in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I call to pick it up,they hadn't gotten to it yet. After 4 weeks I go to pick it up, it looks no cleaner, it somehow looked dirtier! I came back 2 weeks later, the rug looked the same but I was tired of waiting. They were nice, it was a tough rug to clean, but was not impressed by them.

Excellent! He was very helpful and made sure products were pet safe.

One young man showed up. Not enough man power to move furniture. He had to be reminded to move dining table and furniture that was easy to remove. Lots of tables and chairs. Asked him to lift glass on table but instead pulled it off to the side endangering the structure of the coffee table. I asked that two oriental rugs be cleaned and pointed the animal stains. I was told no problem. However when the rugs were returned one rug had obviously not b pretreated and the stain was accentuated. I asked that he take it back and try again. After an argument he took it, but I haven't heard or seen the rug (valued at $850.) since November 12, 2014. (It is now December 10, 2014. Still not word. I called to inquire on a Saturday but the receptionist said she couldn't help and to call back. No one has called. If I had asked that a pretreatment be used it would have double the cost on the the wall to wall carpeting. It is old, and we've had quite a few pets since it was installed 25 years ago so my expectations were not high, however the oriental rugs were just a couple of years old and the price of cleaning was greater than the cleaning of 5 areas! In my opinion this is a scham. When quoted a price no one mentioned the cost would go up if pretreated. The most outrageous is they have not returned my oriental rug! I refused payment on the rug until he rug tried to clean it again. I was generous in my review. I feel an F would be more appropriate. More than on person should have been sent, I should have been told pretreating would double the cost, and my should have been returned by now!

They came on time. called first to make sure I was ready. They moved all the furniture and put the sofa on little blocks as the did all furniture to keep it off the wet carpet.They did spot cleaning and then did a wondulful job cleaning. They carpet which is 20 some years old looked like new. DO be ready when they call. Don't worry they do a great job!

I felt pressured to buy follow up products.

Will use them again. Very impressed with details they caught and brought to my attention, not to sell anything just so that I was aware. GREAT DEAL!

I have nothing to compare, but the service was satisfactory. They did charge a little more. than the original estimate because they stated there was an additional room. They showed up on time and as expected.

I DID NOT LIKE THEIR SERVICES. THEY CAME TO SHAMPOO ALL MY CARPETS AND THEY ONLY WENT OVER IT ONCE. THEY DID NOT EVEN ASK IF I WAS SATISFIED. THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN TEN MINUTES.
