Prompt, very efficient, The techs kept me informed all the way. The repair tech let me know the A/C was working but gave me the option for a new on based on age of the unit which I took. The salesman took the time gave me options and again let me decide what I wanted to do. The installation took longer than we anticipated but the work was done correctly and completely when he left.

Furnace not working ... from initial call to fix was 4 hours!

Too aggressive trying to get me to commit to the purchase of a new furnace. Wanted me to commit over the phone without seeing a quote in writing. When I asked for a quote in writing they withdrew the offer.

They had to reschedule with me due to worker's illness. But they made it right & gave me a discount for the incisiveness. They did need to return to correct duct opening to fit register.

Had a furnace problem and GH&C came out the same day. The technician found the problem within a few minutes and promptly made the repair. Then he conducted a free safety inspection of the primary and secondary heat exchangers and a carbon monoxide test. The tech was knowledgeable and professional and explained the repair and the safety tests clearly. The price was very fair in my opinion.

Had a furnace, central air conditioner, and hot water heater replaced. Grapids was very prompt, and their representatives were very helpful and friendly. They were very sensitive to my having no air conditioning and got the work done quickly during peak time of year.

These guys are very professional. They did a thorough job troubleshooting and gave a detailed written estimate. So why not recommend them? Here's the rest of the story. I called them on the weekend. They answered and it was not an answering service with someone who does t know an AC unit from a big brown box. It was an employee who was very knowledgable. This place could be the best AC business I. Town if they chRged their customers commensurate with the work they performed. My issue needed up being a bad capacitor which is a very common problem. I have changed these in 3 out of the 4 homes I have owned in the last 10 years. Process: three screws for mounting cover, remove three leads from old capacitor, losses clip screw, replace capacitor and reinstall in reverse order. Time is 5 minutes. Capacitor cost is $14.99 on eBay. They charged me $254 of which $89 was service call. I don't care if everyone else is charging ridiculous prices in the area, that doesn't mean you have to be unethical like the rest. In addition to this, they wanted to charge me $200 to clean my AC compressor unit coils. Come on guys, you're killing me over here. $200 for something I did with a hose in 13 minutes and no, it's not rocket science. Honesty is both in the work and the price. My Polaris Water Heater needed the blower motor replacing. I could not find a local Polaris dealer in Michigan to service the unit. I called several plumbing and cooling companies, but none seem to have any experience with Polaris except for Grapids. Erik came out removed the blower and found another part that needed to be replaced. When the part came in, Erik came back and got the parts installed. Erik did a professional job of getting my heat and hot water back. Thanks, Erik...
