GET CONCRETE

First of all, the communication was not good on GET's part. After we received the quote, it was very difficult to get a hold of them to schedule the work. After about 3 weeks, we were finally able to schedule it. After the work was performed, there was concrete sprayed in the grass that we had to clean up as well as stakes and cigarette butts in the area around the newly paved concrete drive that had to be pulled up before we could put grass seed down. It has now been about 9 months and we have a couple cracks in the concrete already. I should note that we discussed our displeasure of how the yard and area was left and they took 10% off our bill and apologized for it.

They accepted the job, then kept pushing me off until they finally stopped returning my inquiries. Apparently thay like to accept jobs and then never complete them.

I was generally pleased with G.E.T. Concrete. I got three bids, and their bid was clearly the lowest. They did what was asked and it was worth what I paid them. I was a little disappointed in the level of attention to the final finishing. It looks alright, but not great. In addition, when they told me to place a garden hose over the surface with a sprinkler to slow curing, I hesitated. I was assured that it would not leave a mark. They were wrong. There is a visible mark across the surface where the hose was. Also, I would have appreciated if they spent a little more time and effort cleaning up. They walked all over my neighbor's lawn and I had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning up chunks of concrete on his and my lawn.

I heard there add on a talk radio show. I called right then and they scheduled time to come out and meet me in April. I didn't want it scheduled until that area was ready so they rescheduled for the end of June. Its about a 280sq ft patio and it seemed rather small to me. They were really nice and professional despite the small size. There were rain delays and kept me informed to delays. There were five guys, they brought all their equipment and they were very professional. I had lots of questions for them and they really paid attention to my concerns, they gave me a lot of insight. They would make use that I could understand the processes and techniques that I questioned. When they gave me the bid on what they were going to do, I ran it by another concrete source that specializes in commercial jobs and they verified that the bid was very good. Get concrete excavated, poured and moved things around as I asked. They followed my exact design. They made sure that the yard was as tidy as could be after the work was complete and all the quipment was removed. They were so reliable. I was left a warranty for the work. I was very very happy with them. I would recommend them to anyone! Everyone loves my patio now!
