Back in November I hired Avalon to do a kitchen remodel and install new flooring throughout house. The guys they sent to start flooring gouged and ruined all my base boards, wrote on a freshly painted wall and started demoing the kitchen before the cabinets were even ordered. On top of this they used some of my tools and even used my oven to cook their meals. (How very professional) They were to put an arch pass through between kitchen and family room. This was not done by someone who knew what they were doing and they spent over 4 weeks and several different workers trying to get it fixed. (they want me to pay for all that labor). I have a down draft cook top that needs to be vented. I spoke with William Webb about that and said if need be I can self-vent the hood but not the cook top. He had the guys vent the hood and did nothing with the down draft. The wrong cabinets were ordered, some were cut down the fit, some were chipped and the finished damaged in installation. I was to have a custom built wine rack which was never done, they ordered from factory instead, which was more money and they never told me about that. I was to have custom shelving and I was never consulted on wood species, stain or even how many or how wide I wanted them to be. Yet, they say they built them and I have to pay for them. I haven't seen them. After constant poor workmanship and damage I finally asked them to leave and not come back. My son had assumed all communication with them and asked for invoices so we could get a final payment worked out and end the relationship. A few weeks later in a profanity laden phone call with every f bomb imaginable from Dan (owner/manager) with threats and saying they didn't have to give us anything and would be putting a lien on my house if I didn't write them a check for what they wanted. Weeks went by and I got another rude phone call from Mr. Webb threatening to put a lien on and telling me I had stalled this long enough and it was time I paid. I explained that I had never seen an invoice so they couldn't possibly put a lien on my house and it was they who were holding things up. A few days later he sent some figures. I sent back what I thought was an amiable compromise deducting what it will cost me to fix, redo and finish what they started. It has been 2 weeks and I have still not heard a thing. They have lost a lot of money on this job with poor workmanship and think I should pay for the repeated attempts to fix it.

I'm so grateful for Avalon's roofing crew. They arrived to our home in a timely manner and got right to work. The roofing install was great and very efficient. I give Avalon, the roofing crew and Jesus our sales representative 5 stars. I would highly recommend Avalon.

Juan and crew arrived at 8 AM. After replacing the house roof, including 4 skylights, and a 24' x 36' detached garage roof, the tucks pulled out of the driveway at 4 PM. Then it began raining off and on for almost 3 weeks No Leaks! Extremely efficient, no mess, painless as possible. Highly recommend Juan's crew from Avalon.

I came across Avalon at the West Michigan Home Show. After receiving multiple estimates I chose them because of their prices. I am very pleased with the installation and overall experience. My next project I will definitely be calling Avalon.

Charley and Shawn were the two siding installers, who did our siding - they did AN EXCELLENT job! They were very professional, and very nice - I would recommend them to anyone and everyone they are the BEST!

I am absolutely impressed with Avalon. Avalon was very fair with their 50 year Timberline HD Shingle cost. The roofing crew was very thorough through the insulation process. The roofing crew was very efficient when covering all of our landscaping. I can’t say enough about Avalon and the roofing crew. If you’re in the market for a new roof, I would 100% highly recommend Avalon and their roofing crews.

We met Avalon representatives at the Grand Rapids Home & Garden Show. We were impressed with their candor and honesty. So we had a rep come to our house to quote our project. Again, the reps knowledge of the project impressed us. He told us the project would take 2-3 days, it ended up taking 4. We originally scheduled the install but when I called to confirm, it came as a surprise for the office. Once the project got started it went well!

I, once again, have the best looking roof in the subdivision! I also have a 25 year Labor Warranty where the neighbors do not!

We are super satisfied with our whole experience. The sales staff were helpful and kind. The crew that did our roof were fast, did great work and cleaned fantastically! Thank you.

I love looking at my house! I had new windows and siding projects completed and although there were a few issues (completely resolved), the jobs were completed to perfection. I have received numerous compliments on a house built in 1920 that looks brand new. My neighbors just had their roof done last week by Avalon based on my recommendation and they were thrilled with the work crew and how quickly and neatly the roof was completed. Next up for them, new windows from Avalon of course!

As always it was great! I’ve been using Avalon for multiple projects over the years and chose to use them again for my bathroom remodel because of my past experiences with them. Everything went great.

Everything went great. The roofing crew arrived at 7:00AM and they were gone by 2:00PM. The Install team had thorough process while they were installing the roof. The roofing crew also cleaned up perfectly and were very polite. Couldn't be happier with the whole process. I would highly recommend Avalon.

I was totally impressed with Avalon’s sales manager - he was totally knowledgeable in answering all of my questions, including other companies costs, materials, and how they stacked up with online reviews. These questions confirmed when the other companies gave me their estimates. I was always in contact with Avalon’s scheduling department due to weather conditions. Two crews came out at 7:00 AM on day of installation. They used care in protecting my landscape and yard with tarps, new roof was completed by 11:00 AM. This time including excellent clean up of all materials from replacing old roof and new roof. I was impressed with no high pressure sales tactics and follow up of inspection of my new roof after installation. I would recommend my exceptional experience with start to finish and outstanding material, cost, and professional service from all Avalon’s employees.

My new windows look wonderful and I’m enjoying all the new sunlight already. I appreciate the professionalism and the congeniality of the install team. Josh and Adam have been a pleasure to work with, along will all the Avalon staff.
