After watching our neighbors roof get done by them, we called. They sent out a young gentleman named David who did a thorough inspection for us. He was friendly, got up on our roof, and into our hard to reach attic to look into everything. He provided us with a quote for shingles that were made locally. The three man crew did a wonderful job. They took precautions with throwing tarps down while they were removing everything. I found a few nails when it was all said and done with, but I didn’t imagine they were gonna be able to find everyone of them with the snow. From what I see the roof looks good and they did a great job. We know who to call if we have any home problems from now on.

I would certainly recommend Avalon. Very pleasant folks. They showed up on time and worked very very hard. Chuck was great! Good followup. I am very satisfied.

Installation crew was courteous and professional. Three-day job with no time wasted. Cleanup was as thoroughly possible with newly-fallen snow on the ground. Both the house and garage look great! The project took a bit too long (57 days) to complete, but customer service personnel were very responsive.

For the most part Avalon is great. I have no complaints when it comes to my roof. They know what they are doing and they get it done. Dan who provided the inspection was kind enough to show up during the installation to check on the crew as I was at work. I came home in the middle of it which is a huge mess, but the crew had tarps down to collect everything coming down from my roof. They cleaned up when it was all said and done. Only snag in the whole process was with the finance department, as they did not communicate very well with me on my credit union loan. Besides that hassle, I enjoyed working with them. My roof looks great.

I am absolutely thrilled with our new gutters. They flow so nicely. No more water in our basement. Avalon has improved our home so much this year. THANK YOU! Thank you to Chuck for taking care of all our issues.

These guys are wonderful! We were able to select a shingle with their representative that would be best for snow dams. Good workers who were absolutely meticulous. Every single one of them knew what they were supposed to do and did it! Avalon does not slack around. Only draw back was the higher price than what we got estimated originally by our insurance agent. Very impressed with their methodical process that fixed all of our leaks.

Just want to thank Avalon and Jason for a wonderful roofing experience. We truly appreciate Jason for answering our questions and concerns. We were quite impressed with the work and the competition of the job in such a timely fashion. They also did a great job cleaning up when done. I will be sure to contact Avalon for future needs. We had Avalon Building replace our roof last fall. They were professional from the initial consultation through the completion of the project. We were very happy with the final results. We even saved money this year on our home owners insurance with the new roof! Overall, a good experience, and would easily recommend them.

I had been sweeping granules up from my driveway for years so I was respective to the gentlemen who knocked on my door. When he told me he noticed my shingles were at the end of their lifetime, and offered to schedule a free estimate I agreed. I asked around about pricing on roofs and did my research prior to them coming out. I used to do home inspections, but after being out of the circle for years I was unsure what a reasonable price was for a decent shingle. Jesus was genuine in his presentation, adapting to questions I had, and picking up that I had knowledge of the roofing process. He obviously recommended the best, but still took the time to show us different shingles at different prices. I liked that Avalon was local and was told by Jesus I would have a new roof shortly. A few weeks later Avalon's crew was out. Watching these guys work was fun. They knew what they were doing and were so gun ho about completing the project. I ended up speaking with a few crew members while sharing lunch with them. Oscar was always able to answer my questions as to what they were doing or going to do next. It was nice to be kept informed. They offered to remove an old dish and plug the giant holes that would have been left behind if I removed it myself. They worked till dark to complete the roof and I feel went above and beyond for us.

I was looking into replacing my windows myself as they let in major drafts. I was sick and tired of wrapping them every winter. Avalon offered free quotes so I agreed to let them come out. Doug was friendly. We bullshitted for a while before he dropped the price tag on me for different options. I was shocked that he could replace all the windows in my home and my patio slider for less than I expected it to cost me. They turned out amazing! The two man team that came out to install are true tradesman. They had half the windows installed in the course of four hours. They were pleasant and took notice of where they stepped in my home while working. I love the fact I no longer have saran wrap my windows. Only issue I have is they no longer fog, so I have had a few birds fly into my super clear windows and slider over the last month. Definitely impressed with their work.

Avalon has been and will continue to be my go to for anything home improvement related when it comes to my home. They are always the first people I call because they have always done excellent work for me. They have fixed my chimney, my ceiling, my roof, remodeled my bathroom, and installed windows and doors throughout the years. I have even had the owner himself come out and look at my place. He is a kind man with a great team. Everyone is very helpful. All I have to do is call them, tell them my name, and they know my address. They just installed a new window and storm door for me and I continue to be impressed with their product and work.

Our roof looks fantastic! It was completed very quickly, gone before I came home from work, color looks amazing. They even came and did a recap of what was done with him. The lead guy, Chuck, was very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Avalon.

I contracted with Avalon Building Concepts on March 7th, 2018. The salesman, Randy Stubblefield, that responded to my call for a roofing estimate. Randy sold me on the premise my roof would take one day to tear off and replace. Randy sold that point to me by telling me that he'd send a crew of 6-8 roofers to my house to complete the work. Randy showed me a satellite image of my roof which calculates the roofing squares, and that he'd be adding an additional 20% for waste. Randy assured me a satellite dish affixed to my current roof would be taken down, at no charge to me. All of these things sound great, and really what I truly cared about was the workmanship and quality of the materials being installed, which Randy also assured me that his crews are trained and certified through GAF, and that my property would be properly cleaned after job completion. Handshake on March 7th...onto a phone call received Monday, March 12th, 2018. I receive a call from Adam in production to schedule my roofing job; he seems eager to get me out of the way the following day, Tuesday, March 13th, 2018. Because Randy sold me on a one-day job type of thing, I agreed. This is important because my fiancee is a nightshift ER nurse, which means she sleeps through the "normal daylight hours". My fiancee works Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (the 14th, 15th, and 16th of March 2018). Anyway, Adam from production told me to expect the supply truck and crew to show up between 7:30 and 9:00 am on Tuesday 3/13/2018. Crew does not appear until about 10:00 am. Reported crew of 6-8 is also just 3. Job does not get done in one day. I also mention a satellite dish on the backside of my house that I do not need and they can dispose of/leave on my lawn. Crew returns for second day of work (Wednesday 3/14/2018) and just after returning home from work, I asked one of the crew members if they'd finish today and the response was "no, we're going to run out of shingles and nails". So now they must return for a third day. Prior to wrapping up on the second day of work, one of the crew members rings the doorbell and asks if he can use the restroom; approximately an hour after the crew left, I find that my toilet has been clogged. Crew appears for third day of roof install (Thursday, March 15th, 2018), all seems to be going "as well as it can be" at this point until about 1:40 pm that afternoon. I received a text message from a crew member asking me "do you have dish?" and I responded within a few minutes with "no, you can cut the cable attached to the dish and leave it in the backyard". The satellite dish was re-installed in the very location from which it was removed. Crew wraps up operations and leaves prior to 3:00 pm that day. Crew left a bunch of materials at my house as well as several ripped window screens, a driveway and yard full of waste, including nails and staples that I am forced to clean up to ensure my fiancee and I or our dogs do not injure ourselves.

Avalon is a great company! Chuck is very professional and knowledge with regard to the product - and we were very pleased with the quality. The roofing crew was amazing! It was completely done in one day's time. We would highly recommend Avalon to anyone who asks!

Jason was great to do business with very well mannered and good to talk to. He worked out a good deal and made sure everything was taken care of. The workers that came out to my house were great and got the job done quickly and cleaned up everything. I enjoyed having them around. When I went into their building the staff there was very nice and service was great. They took care of me when I was in and out quickly. All and all, very good group of people.

Crew was very fast and courteous. The sales rep had great follow up. Chuck always answered when we called with questions. We would highly recommend Avalon to our friends.

The salesperson Jason was a real pleasure to work with. The roof was installed on time and he followed up to make sure everything was correctly done. The price was reasonable and the cleanup was done well. I would definitely recommend Avalon and Jason Robinson.

Avalon's price was the best and they were hands down the most professional I had in my home for an estimate. Having a roofer explain to me that they normally would measure my roof by walking it, but did not want to risk further damage from added weight as I had a visible dip in my roof from broken trusses made sense. Billy instead went into my attic to see the damage. He took a lot of pictures of my home from the ground and was able to provided me with a 3D model of my home. That model was used for me to see and pick my shingle color. No other company came close to offering something like that. As the crew had to come inside to do some of the work it was nice that they were friendly. Carl communicated with me a lot about what the crew was doing. I trusted him to do the work without me here watching him because he would keep in touch with me about what was going on. My roof no longer dips or leaks thanks to their work.

There wasn’t anything they didn’t think of and were not prepared for when it came to our roof. We ended up calling them to get more than one roofing estimate and are so happy we did. Unlike the guy from Hansons, Avalon’s guy got up on our roof. He said he found a few soft spots that concerned him as possible trouble areas. We didn’t have any leaks, but he explained to us what soft areas could mean. He even had a portfolio of work to showcase. He was not high pressured. Simply asked when we would like to start this project and we moved forward. It took a few weeks for them to get to our roof after signing the bid. When the crew arrived they immediately got right to work. Each guy knew they had a job to do and did it. We were so impressed that they put up big sheets of plywood to protect our big windows and sliders. While the entire crew did not speak English, the crew leader was always polite and would pull us aside when something needed to be addressed. He spoke English. They ended up finding a big gaping hole under our shingles during tear off where the decking had basically designated underneath. They do absolutely wonderful work and literally flew through our roof. We are so pleased with the color we choose. My wife always tells me it looks so much better than the green.

There are not many folks you can just call and trust on. Avalon is one of those companies. I found them in the phone book and upon calling had an appointment. Many companies wouldn't even answer the phone. They sent William out for the inspection and he quickly got up on our roof to inspect our chimney leak. He was nice, and made my older mother feel comfortable. He was sincere in explaining his findings and explanation of how he would like to solve the problem. It's always unsettling inviting strangers into your home, but William assured us the crew would be polite and take great care of us. When the workers arrived to fix our chimney leak they were everything William told us they would be. They were extremely respectable to our home, were neat, and finished quickly. I now have a beautiful hot home as the chimney is usable. I highly recommend giving them a call!
