Description of Work: Replaced waste and overflow in tub. Changed approx. 9 feet of pipe from cast to PVC, connected to sewer stack. Replaced flapper in toilet and reseated toilet on floor in basement. | Nick and his assistant worked as fast as they could to change trap under tub so that it was accessible, tested for leaks, fixed tiolet, and still they were running late for next appointment. They were very friendly, but kind of left a mess. I was glad I'd put down dropclothes before they came. Maybe if they weren't so rushed, they'd have cleaned up more. On the plus side, they gave me a repeat customer discount, even though it was my first time because the job took 1/2 hour longer than previously quoted. They are more expensive than Budget Plumbing, but I felt they listened better to my needs and explained more what might need to be done in the future. My house is 53 years old.

Description of Work: This is an older house bought in feb. 2014. The bathroom tub or something seemed to be leaking small amounts of water after showering. Affordable Plumbing came on the same day I called, very nice, figured out the problem and fixed it right away. Can't remember what he called it but had to do with the faucet. Then he checked out the outdoor faucet and planning to return to replace it. (I added that AFTER he showed up).

Description of Work: Plumber rotared our sewer pipe and flushed with water. Problem was not fixes but the employee was super empathetic and punctual.

Description of Work: Came to check our pipe on a day of really bad flooding did a great job very professional stated that there was not a hole in pipe and talked the problem thru with my husband. Loved them

Description of Work: I had a leaking toilet and I cannot say enough good things about Tom's service from Affordable Plumbing. He tried the least expensive option for repair first, then came back when that didn't work with an extra service charge---just time and parts. He couldn't have been more pleasant, professional, or done a better job. I would not hesitate to call Affordable Plumbing, and only Affordable Plumbing, whenever I have a problem.
