Ed Drozdowski (owner) and crew seemed friendly and hardworking, and while the patio looked good until the last step (sealing the concrete) the finished product was a disaster. I paid Ed in full on the last day as the sealing was occurring. The crew didn't know how much sealant to use and put WAY too much product down, causing 2 halves of the patio to look markedly different. Ed was VERY unresponsive to our complaints, and I actually ended up trying to fix the problem myself. A large thunderstorm revealed that Ed and crew had crushed a 6" draintile that he claims he didn't know about (a lie, as I pointed it out AND there is a HUGE drop basin in the middle of the patio) - as a result, our basement flooded! Not once, but twice, as Ed was unresponsive to our pleas to fix the drain tile. Ed proceeded to inform us that HIS insurance company dropped him and he was NOT covered against the damage he directly caused. He ended up having to tear up half of our patio to replace the draintile. When they finally returned to repour and stamp the concrete, they poured UNCOLORED concrete. Ed did not return our calls over the next 2 months so we reluctantly decided to involve a lawyer - Ed sent us letter questioning why we would do such a thing (he'd actually changed his cell phone number). We of course never saw a dime, as Ed had all assets in his wife's name....seems the system is set up to protect sleazeballs like Ed and punish the customer.4 years later, we still have a patio that is 3 colors....an absolute embarrassment , but we are unwilling to put more money into it and it will cost thousands to fix properly......one concrete contractor told us to tear it up and start over!Lawyer fees and basement repairs cost us an additional 10,000. So our 10,000$ patio cost us 20,000.

HORRIBLE!!! They showed up 2 days late. When they finally showed they had to use our tools. Took a long time to do the job. When they were finished and it dried, there were lots of big cracks. We have called and called, no response! When they finally called and said they would be there to fix the cracks, NO SHOW, NO SHOW. We were promised over & over again. They are taking advantage of "Senior Citizens" They cashed our check, they got $2,600.00 and we have a driveway that looks worse than it was before they touched it! I want my driveway fixed, they have seen the cracks and agreed with us that there are big cracks all over the driveway...
Description of Work: dug up driveway, pored new driveway.

Replaced sidewalk on 07/24/08. Replaced more area than agreed upon, although I was at home in the house, and then asked for more money. Splattered the concrete 2 ft. up the stucco & covered several places on the brick near the ground. Also, cemented the side door shut. Did not repair the porch at this time. Made 8-10 appointments to come back and finish their work but never showed up and seldom returned my calls. After 8 weeks of attempts, they finally came & cleared the back door & removed the cement from the stucco but did not clear the bricks. The porch was repaired at this time but three sections were supposed to be done and only two were.
Description of Work: Sidewalk on west side of house removed and replaced. Front porch cracks repaired.

I THINK THAT THIS COMPANY OVERCHARGED FOR SOME OF THE THINGS THAT MY HUSBAND AND I ASKED THEM TO DO. THEY LEFT A MESS BEHIND WHEN THEY FINISHED. I WOULD NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN TO DO ANY TYPE OF WORK FOR ME.
Description of Work: THEY CAME TO INSTALL A CONCRETE PATIO.
