+ -1 moreI was extremely satisfied with my experience at Upholstery Plus. I worked with Michelle and she was very helpful and patient while I was trying to find the right fabric. Her work was fantastic and the chairs are beautiful. I am very happy with both the result and the price I paid. I thought it was very reasonable.
Description of Work: I had two dining room chairs reupholstered.

+ -1 moreThe woman who worked with me from Upholstery Plus showed me several options for reupholstering the seats--ranging from high quality faux leather to real leather to match the texture and color of the rest of the couch. She was very clear about the pros and cons of each option--including price, maintenance and the best way to match one hide against an existing leather piece of furniture. We did go with leather to match the rest of the leather couch, and the result was wonderful. Both texture of the leather and the color were a beautiful match. Just as importantly, she listened to my concerns about the problems with the back cushions, experimented with a few new options, and in the end provided us with newly stuffed back leather cushions that, with the newly upholstered seats, gave this 9 year old leather couch a whole new life.
Description of Work: My leather couch was damaged by my dog (scratched through the leather on the couch seat to the filling). I was also unhappy with the filling in the back cushions and wanted to find something that would provide firmer support. As a result I was trying to recover only the leather seat cushions--to match the rest of the leather couch--with interior stuffing/cushions that would improve the comfort of the couch.
