We got him because he had high grades. I got him because everybody gave him good marls and he earned all of them. He?s delightful. He is in the middle of doing several projects.?We just got a new Hybrid van from Chrysler and he?s installs the 240 for us.?It?s going to be about $5,000. My husband has Parkinson?s and we?ve lost electricity enough, one time it was for 2 weeks in the middle of the winter. We live in Michigan for crying out loud. You can?t go 2 weeks without. He can?t help me and I?m 67 and 4 feet 10, how much can I do??For the generator, installation, buying the generator, the electric panel gap, everything was $5,000.

Sparky's was prompt in setting up a visit for an estimate and then the work date. They arrived on time, performed the work as requested, and cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous and helpful throughout the process.

They responded 3 hours after my call -- I was surprised and amazed. Scott and Ryan were very personable and professional. Changed dryer plug on new dryer in my older home and fixed broken hallway plug. I would highly recommend Sparky's to my friends.

Sparky's provided a written estimate within days of my calling them. I had contacted at least 4 other electrical contractors asking them to provide estimates. None of them did even after coming to our house to review what was needed. Sparky's answered the few questions I had and clarified how things were to be done. Once we agreed on the date for the work to be done Sparky's two man crew showed up on time. They protected the entire area with furniture moving blankets and even brought their own trash can. When they ran into an unexpected snag (no room to add a 3-gang box for the new light switch due to a stud on each side of existing box) they informed me of the issue and what options I had to resolve it. The crew needed a special light switch that they didn't have on the truck so they had one delivered to the house while they went to lunch instead of calling it quits and returning to finish the job some other day. Much appreciated. Job was completed on time and for the estimated amount. Overall Sparky's was an excellent choice for this project. I have additional electrical needs that I will use them for exclusively.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from the crew at Sparky's. They were on time, protected my floors and countertops while doing the work, and were very efficient with their time. I can't stand doing electrical work, and it's so nice to have a great local company that can step in & take care of my electrical needs. I'm so glad I heard about the whole house surge protector through Sparky's, as it's nice to be reassured I won't have an electrical disaster if my house power ever experiences a high voltage surge from the utility company! Props again to Sparky's Electric for the great job! They are the only call I'll ever need to make for anything electrical related.

Sparky's crew of two did a great job. They spent a couple of hours in the morning installing the fan because there was not an existing installation and it took them a while. For that, they open part of the plaster wall and mudded in the boxes for the fan the light and moved the outlet (originally the outlet and the light were in the same plug). They also completed the new 20 amp line GFCI plug in the powder room. They took a half hour break to eat and in the afternoon they installed the light and the deck outside outlets. They were very polite and nice. There was a small issue with the plate in the bathroom and once the foam by the wall fan expanded I noticed that the outside of my house had orange visible spots and a few drips on the side of the wall. I called them and they came back and fixed those two little things. They are a great reliable local company. I recommend them.

I purchased a 1920's home but had to update old electrical service before I could get insurance and ultimately a mortgage. I got estimates from several companies and decided on Sparky's Electric. The owner Josh is very professional and easy to work with. He reviewed the service in my home and made suggestions and gave me options. Josh has an easy way of explaining things that made sense to a novice like me. He provided a detailed estimate and explained work in detail and we agreed on course of action. His men were also professionals - did work efficiently, neatly, with no loose ends left behind. They came back to tweak a couple of things for me and to do some additional work I added. I chose Josh because of his professionalism and I was not disappointed. I'm a single woman who tries hard to select honest, reputable contractors. So, I found that in Josh and feel that I got a lot of value for the monies I spent ... it was definitely well worth it, and I will use him again. I was comfortable during the whole process, which is a real treat!! Thanks, Josh, you guys are great!

They did an excellent job. This particular job was quite difficult and Josh came up with a plan to get the new electrical lines from the main panel all the way to the 2nd floor bathroom on the other side of the house. This was not just your run of the mill job and Sparky's handled it with no issues at all. I've used Sparky's on multiple occasions and have always been impressed with the job they do, the fair pricing they offer, and their quality of workmanship. Josh does it right and in my opinion should be regarded as one of the premier electrical contractors in the Mid-Michigan area.

Josh gave me a free inspection and estimate to bring the home up to code. Work was reasonably priced and done very quickly.
