+ -1 moreTechnically competent, but poor service. Two appointments, both scheduled for first of the day at 8:30 a.m. Intentionally made first appointment of day, so I would not have to miss an entire day of work. Technician arrived more than two hours late for both appointments.

Description of Work: We just had MacDowell’s Fireplace. We had a new mantle put in on the brick fireplace and the fireplace insert.

+ -1 moreHad problems installing insert, top of fireplace was crooked and did not bring all materials to finish the job. Returned 5 days later to finish and came at 7:30 pm. The weekend after the insert was installed it rained and the insert leaked. Upon notifying the business they claimed the chimney had a crack and that they had told my wife upon installing about the crack which they did not. The chimney was inspected four months ago and there was no cracks! Advised it could not be returned because the return policy is 3 days.
Description of Work: Installed a wood fireplace insert.
