L & N Carpet Cleaning

Good: They showed up on time and the technicians were friendly. They were quick with their work. Price was reasonable Bad: They were sloppy and not careful. As seen in the photos they didn't cover every corner and they scuffed up our door jambs in the rooms they cleaned. They also left the floor wet where over-spray happened.

I liked their services fine. I liked all of the people that came, except maybe one. He was a little hard to talk to, but other than that I liked them fine. The work that they did turned out good. It used to be when I called them I got the same people, but now I get different people so it's a little hard to say. But I mean, they usually do a fairly good job. But like I said, there was one person that when I asked them to re-clean a spot, he didn't seem too happy about having to do that. For price, they were competitive. They're usually on time.

Excellent. They worked very efficiently and we're helpful with moving some furniture. They explained how they treat the carpet and offered other products without being pushy.

Called first to say they were on their way. Very polite, shook hands and introduced themselves. Efficient, done in about 45 min. Looked okay till the next day (still a little wet). Called next day after that because there were random brown stains on the berber carpet. They explained "wicking" and said they would be back to fix. Returned and re-did the living room. Stated the carpet had gotten too wet the first time and that wicking is d/t water and carpet backing . They sprayed a solution and completely re-did the whole room--no extra charge. By the next day it looked great. I would use them again.

The experience was wonderful! We are getting our house ready to sell and wanted to make sure the carpet that we didn't replace this year looked its best. I signed up for my appointment at the Lansing Area Home and Garden Show to get their deal of free stain master in one room. The afternoon of the cleaning, I called to verify the time and was told that they had gotten stuck on their previous job and would be out to our house about 1/2 hour late. We got a call a little while later from the guys themselves saying that they were on their way and would be there in about 30-45 minutes. I didn't mind that they were late because it gave me more time to make sure the rooms/areas were ready, also they communicated with me so I was aware of the situation. When they got there, they immediately got to work. They were very polite and professional, they called me Ma'am, which I thought was good because I knew they were talking to me and not each other. They were able to stretch our carpet even though it hadn't been on the ticket. We asked them right away to be careful of the woodwork and that was the only time we had to say anything - they remembered and were extremely careful of everything. The carpets looked great, they were able to remove almost all of the stains (the only one that remains is one that would have been a miracle for them to get out because it is glitter paint on a Berber) and the overall experience was very pleasant. I will definitely call them when we are in our new home and need to get the carpets cleaned.

The two service people arrived promptly as scheduled. They completed the work quickly -- living room, dining room, stairs. and hallway. I thought perhaps too quickly, but actually the carpeting was much cleaner than when they started; even old stains were removed. The two men were professional and competent.

From our initial phone call, we received all the information in terms of the charges up front and in good faith - pleasant, explained how the billing was charged, as well as all fees, etc. that would be associated with this cleaning. The called 20 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive, allowing me to work until that call came in and didn't force me to wait at home in that "window" that I originally scheduled. The technicians were thorough, polite, and professional, and described the service as well as what to do if we wanted them to come back out to work on a particular area of the carpet that had a stain. In all, they spent about 30 minutes at our home, but I never felt they were rushing or cutting corners - they worked efficiently, quietly, and were courteous. I would recommend to anyone.

They arrive on time and are very careful about the spots. They will give an explanation is a spot will not come up. They use steam and there is not a lot of foam left. I have used them for years and I believe in Nancy from this company.
