I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently he got it done. He did all the work himself. He even did some light repair work on walls and ceilings. He did a fantastic job. Very professional.

He explained the paint formulation and why he needed extra coats, very dark wall. Very pleasant to chat with while paint drying. He was actually in Puerto Rico vacationing when I called him and he got right back with me. Very satisfied and will use again.

Mr. Hockenberger showed up at the exact time we discussed... His estimate was very reasonable... He completed the work at the time of the estimate because it was a small job... He cleaned up after himself and I was very pleased... I would recommend him to anyone... The services were provided at my home in Michigan...

I will admit, I am pretty picky when it comes to detail, in a paint job. I notice the smallest details, and once I see an imperfection, I cant help but notice it all the time. This is the main reason, why I normally painted myself. Now with a young family, my free time is scarce, and felt hiring a professional to paint the first floor of our recently purchased home was the only way I would be able to get the project done correctly. I contacted Bob, to set up an appointment to quote the work that I needed done. He showed up on time, and was able to provide a quote on the job before he left. I felt he was very reasonably priced, and would be able to finish the job in a timely manor, in more importantly do it in very professional manor. Each morning he showed up on time, and when he left at the end of the day, he left the home clean and organized for the next day's work. I would definitely recommend using his services, and will use him again on our next painting project.

Hired Bob to paint our master bedroom and half bathroom on main floor. Doug provided good ideas to complement what we thought the colors should be for our trim. We picked out the wall colors at Sherwin Williams and Bob did the rest! Rooms look great, we couldn't be happier!

Mr. Hockenberger provided very professional services. Care was taken in room preparations. All painting quoted was performed and looks wonderful. Mr. Hockenberger painted the upper levels of my home in October 2013. Again, the professional job performed exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this business.

Robert was everything we hoped for in a painter. He took extra time to make sure I was happy with the color choice of paint. Had total trust in him to come and go unattended.

Bob is a wonderful guy. I loved having him in my home. He came out the next day following my call to provide my quote, which was very reasonable. We discussed all that he would do, the paint he would use, and the time frame he estimated the job would require. He was in my home a total of 2 1/2 days. He arrived on time every day. He was thorough, careful and meticulous in all aspects of the work. On the last day he went around to every wall and crevice and made sure that I was happy with the job. We identified a couple of spots where you could still see the roller marks (it was a dark paint color, which I learned tends to show roller marks more than lighter colors), and he re-did them, adding a 3rd coat of paint. He stayed till it was dry and made sure I was happy with the outcome. I would DEFINITELY recommend Bob for any painting needs. He also repaired some drywall and you cannot even tell where the repair was done now. Couldn't be more pleased. Will use this painter again. Just a lovely man.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by Mr. Hockenberger. He did a great job communicating during our appointment to get a bid on the work and once we decided to use his services scheduling was very easy. He showed up on time completed the work on schedule, and did an excellent job.

This is my second time using Robert, and it was a great experience as usual. He was personable, had an excellent work ethic, and did a phenomenal job. He completed the job on schedule and charged a very reasonable price, too.

Robert was very professional. He showed up when he said and did not leave until the job was done for the day. Overall, he worked 3 days on a project that ended up being a bigger job than anticipated. Yet, he stuck to his quote and did not raise his price. I would use his company again and have recommended him already.

He did a really good job. He took his time. He explained what he was doing and why he did things. He was a really good and nice person. I appreciated that he explained what was being done. He explained different types of paint and what was better to use in different instances. He was very educating in painting and in regards to what to do or what not to do.

Had just about every room in our condo painted including our ceilings. Previous owner was a smoker but Robert took extra steps to try and ensure the walls were clean and that the proper paint was used so the smoke stains didn't come through. The previous pain job was absolutely hideous and Robert really has his work cut out for him. I was amazed at how affordable he was and very fast. He is a sweet man and very kind hearted. I was very satisfied with his work and am actually going to call him to do done trim,a few doors and our mud room.

Overall, our experience could not have been better. Robert was a joy to work with and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

I needed to have rooms in my new home painted before we moved in. Bob had the time and started immediately. He was efficient, professional, and a great person. I have already booked him for another painting job.

This was the first time I had painted my condo since moving in, 9 years ago. It required minor drywall repair and fixing of nail pops, etc. I had the entire condo repainted included vaulted ceiling with skylights. Mr. Hockenberger provided a comprehensive estimate including paint recommendations. He did all of the work himself; was very professional, organized and efficient. I was extremely satisfied with the job.

I contacted Mr. Hockenberger by phone. He came out one evening when I was not home to review the project and give me an estimate. He did not notice a problem area (some wood on the house needed to be replaced) and expressed concern over taking the project because that was not his area of focus. He came back out a week later to look specifically at the areas where wood needed to be replaced. I was out of town, so he met with my 18 yr-old daughter - a huge benefit for me. I gave him a can of existing paint so he could match the color. He suggested a stain vs. paint and I agreed with his choice. He then left a revised estimate including the additional work - in writing. We talked again on the phone after that to confirm my approval for the work and he told me when he planned to come out to do the staining. He came out on the day he said he would and finished the work in one day. It looks great - I am very satisfied. He cleaned up, he left the remaining stain and put the three pieces of wood that were removed on the porch. I never actually met him face to face - all of my interactions were on the phone, which was very beneficial for me. Mr. Hockenberger was very professional, thorough, polite and managed my expectations throughout our interaction. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone. I considered his price for the work to be fair and worth it for my needs.

Mr Hockenberger came to our house on 4/15/2011 to review the project and to completely understand our expectations. He doubled checked all measurements to verify that enough wallpaper had been ordered. On the scheduled installation date He arrived on time and was very detailed during the installation of the wallpaper. When a issue arose with the paper not having sufficient glue, Mr Hockenberger went to a local store to obtain additional adhesive so the paper would stay on the all after he left. The house was as clean when he left as when he arrived. He was very professional in all aspects of the job.

Mr. Hockenberger did a careful, thorough job. He gave us an estimate and discussed the best types of paint to use for this application (bathroom, new drywall). He was flexible about the day we chose and was prompt. He worked calmly, quietly, and rapidly but accurately. He was well prepared with his materials and left the area neat and clean when he was done for the day and when he had completed the work. He was good-humored and quick to help when we asked for some additional wall repairs, as well as accommodating to our household activity. He has done painting for us over a span of some 20 years and we have gladly recommended him to others, including elderly family members, who were very happy with him and his work.
