Grand Blanc Fabrics

Description of Work: I contacted Sassy Fabrics to do Upholstery as advertised on Angies list, we have 2 antique chairs my husband refinished and we needed them upholstered. She said they were open til 2 and they had lots of material to chose from so I said we would see her shortly. When we got there, we were directed to a woman that said well, you'll have to bring them back when the upholstery man was in. I said "I just called and you didn't mention that", she said well I can't give you a price and you need springs and everything! We said it didn't originally have springs in the seat of either chair, just a cushion. It was so obvious that she was not familiar with upholstery at all and was not wanting to help us at all. I said "put them back in the car, I'm taking them somewhere else"! She said "well, you could leave them here and I could ask the Upholsterer about them and get you an estimate". I said I don't need an estimate right now, we just want to drop the chairs off now, pick out the material and we'll call him on Monday! We were just so disappointed because my husband worked h these chairs and thought a small business person would appreciate the business but not this place! I still don't know if we're getting them done there but their professionalism stinks! She treated us like she thought we were homeless people looking for a handout. We're not happy!

Description of Work: After a fire, I had numerous pieces to be recovered, a very complex job with many different fabrics.
